Introduction
My overseas experience has instilled in me a curiosity about exploring different perspectives,
which I believe has been an asset at COBIS, promoting an environment where diversity is valued and
respected.

Overall work
Work was eased at the beginning . supportive group. Encourage to work on
own terms.
More specific work
The majority of my tasks thus far can be categorised as research, communications, events
management and administrative. COBIS engages its members on a variety of social media platforms in
addition to sending out electronic newsletters and providing continuing professional development (CPD)
through webinars.

Final thoughts
Overall I have very much enjoyed my time at COBIS and would strongly encourage anyone with a
marketing and/or communications interest to join. The role is engaging and presents new challenges each
week to help you sharpen your skillset. I have truly learned a lot since being here. I believe my
international background, together with my PR and communication skills have helped me fit into the
position and an enthusiasm to develop has catalysed my progress

Introduction

Established on June 1st, 2007, Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd. is one of the overseas offices
affiliated to Mizuho Financial Group, which is one of the three megabanks in Japan.

To conclude, the internship at Mizuho Bank (China), Ltd. has provided me invaluable
experience for my future study and career. Since I just finished my first year at SILS, I intend
to take more courses related to finance and business during the later years. The internship
has strengthened my interest in the finance and banking field. And I think abundant

professional knowledge is essential for my further practice in the financial field. Also, I
intend to put the knowledge and experience I gained from the internship into practical use in
my future career. At last, I want to thank the school and Mizuho Bank for the internship
opportunity, and thank my instructors for the guidance and help during the whole internship.
