Online Marketing Manager

The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for the ongoing development of Zen Internets website, portals,
systems and tools to ensure our online presence fully reflects and promotes our capabilities, products, services,
and mission to provide the best ISP service in the UK.
This includes shaping the online customer and partner proposition and content, driving customer interactions online
with relevant content, increasing customer and partner engagement and delivering an excellent online user
experience for customers, prospects and partners.

The main areas of responsibility are:

Overall strategic development, management and maintenance of the company portfolio of websites and
portals to meet current and future requirements of the business
Working with a wide range of business stakeholders to collaboratively manage input into online content;
managing and developing ideas to deliver on-going tactical and strategic improvements, in line with
consistent brand values and market propositions
Working with the rest of the Marketing team to ensure alignment and integration with all on and offline
marketing campaigns and using comprehensive data analysis to drive tactical and strategic contributions to
campaigns
Development and maintenance of ley relationships with Systems Development in order to align all online
activity to the companys system strategy
Management of integrated online marketing campaigns including customer acquisition, conversion and
retention across online channels using organic and paid for search and website optimisation supported by
social media integration
Development, ownership and implementation of an online roadmap which has the approval of the Senior
Management Team and reflects the inputs from a wide range of internal and external sources
Ownership, development and continual refinement of the online customer and partner journey and user
experience
Evaluating proposals for new online services, creating commercially sound business cases and overseeing
the projects to ensure they adhere to the companys project approvals processes.
Managing the ongoing website experience and on-page performance, including product ranging, time
spent, conversion and activation. This will include tracking, analysing and reporting website performance
metrics, with follow up analysis to inform the development of an Online KPI plan.
Ensuring all online communications comply with best industry standards, compliance, usability and
accessibility

Candidate

Strong experience of designing the online customer journey using user experience
Extensive online marketing pedigree and evidence of working in a fully integrated marketing team
Good understanding of information architectures, user flow diagrams, wireframes and of inputting business
requirements into projects
Proven experience at using web analytics and content management systems
Web development project planning identifying key tasks, dependencies and critical paths and managing
daily project activities to meet plans
Enthusiastic about the Internet, content, e-commerce and data driven decisions
Strong copy writing skills, confident with CMS and a working knowledge of graphics software and design
principles.
Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments and understand the implications

High level of resilience and self-motivation with strong negotiation, influencing and relationship skills
Innovative - the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
Candidates with Usability, Accessibility and HTML/DHTML/CSS, XML, UML, Dreamweaver experience
would be an asset
