Introduction: Everyone likes small personified animals. Over time request to introduce a sort of eastern inspired race into our campaigns rose to high levels. So i
caved in and created a sort of tiny humanoid fox race. Hope you like it.

Volpi

Introduction
The volpi are a small woodland race of fox like humanoids. Their origin is as mysterious, and could
either be beings of the fey woods and sometimes
become awakened by strong forest or even arcane
magics. Unlike humans need to ponder things in
advance Volpi focus on living to the fullest. They
live in both society and solitary form, some are even
found enslaved by powerful mages.

Alignment. Volpi are most often good, and tend to


be more chaotic than lawful. Being essentially embodiment of freedom, curiosity and carelessness it
would be pretty rare to find a stoic Volpi paladin.

Volpi Traits

Quick Dash. Volpi are naturally astute runners.


While you are holding nothing in your hands and
are not encumbered you may spend your bonus action to dash.

Your Volpi character has common characteristics in


common with all other volpi.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity and Charisma
increases by 1.
Age. Volpi mature at the same rate humans do, and
most are settle down into an adult life by around
age of 40. They can live 150 to almost 200 years.

Size. Volpi are 24 to 36 tall and average about 35


pounds. Your size is Small.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Languages. You can speak, read and write Common


and Sylvan. Sylvan is similar to elvish script and is
known for its artistic and arcane recording use.

Deepwoods Volpi

Brighttail Volpi

Deepwood Volpi are more attuned to natural flows


of forest they live. They are more in tune with nature and use this deep connection to their advantage employing their animal neighbours to aid them
when necessary. They are also more kind and secretive than their Volpi cousins.

Brighttail Volpi are a fun loving, and more adapt


users of magic. Mostly focusing on using their innate understanding of illusion to achieve whatever
they want. They tend to be more focused in living in
societies where their talent can be used often and
to their best advantage.

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom increases by 1.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence increases


by 1.

Animal Friend. You are able to communicate using


gestures and sounds to relay simple information to
and from small or smaller woodland beasts. Deepwood Volpi usually keep squirrels, badgers, rabbits,
moles, woodpeckers and other creatures as beloved
pets.
Deepwood connection. Deepwood Volpi are able to
cast druid craft cantrip at will.

Blinding Speed. When you use your action to Dash,


you may become invisible for 1 minute or until you
take any other action (including Dash, you may
how ever use your Quick Dash ability). You may use
this ability again after you finish a short or long
rest.
Natural Illusionist. You know the minor illusion
cantrip. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for
it.
