STREET BLOCKING CANDLEWOOD ROAD

I attach two applications for street blocking:

1. Candlewood Road: I attach an application for filming in the Town of Ipswich. This request
is approved by the Town Manager, however a portion of the request is for blocking a section
of Candlewood Road, which needs to be approved by the Board of Selectmen.
Chief Nikas has required details to be direct traffic during this blocking as shown on
attached map. The blocking will not limit emergency vehicles from traveling through this
section of road.
Kindly vote to approve street blocking for September 9th September 10th of Candlewood
Road from the intersection with Chebacco Road towards Route 133 for a distance of
approximately 50 feet.
2. Parts of County Street, Green Street, Water Street and Elm Street (as shown on attached
map) for the Ipswich Illumination event on September 24 (rain date, September 25). Chief
Nikas is coordinating officers to assist with direction traffic as the road closures.

These requests have been reviewed and approved by the Chief of Police, Fire Chief, DPW and
Building Department
