My Father Goes To Court

SETTING
When: In the year of 1918.
Where: Small town on the island of Luzon.

PLOT/PROBLEM
Event 1: A Family, lived in a small town in part of Luzon. They have a neighbor who are very
rich.The Richmans Sons and daughters are seldom to came out from the house.They are always
hiding inside and kept the windows and doors closed.While the girls and boys from the family
are very happy playing outside. The Richmans house are tall so they can see always the
childrens outside.Sometimes, the servants frying delicious food so the children smell a good
odor.Richmans see the children and family healthy and always laughing.They father was a
laughing man and there was plenty to maked them laugh.
Event 2:One day, Family laughed at the middle of the night because their daughter/sister scream
and cried knowing that she is pregnant.But when the father of the family took her tummy he see
a bullfrog so thats why everyone was laughing. Their neighbors came and join to the
family.Anyway,Richmans children was became thin and anemic and Richmans family will have
a cough on that day.
Event 3: One day a policeman came to the house of a family and gave a sealed paper. The
Richman has a complaint to the family saying that this family stealing their food and wealth in
the past years. The day comes,they are all in court and the father preparing for defense himself.
The Richman arrived and his face has a deep lines like an old man. The Richmans lawyer
pointed out the father and asking a questions.Father disagree with all his questions and agree that
they hunging on the windows and inhaled the spirit of food.The children of Richman came
out,they are so thin and pale.The Father paid and prove to all people around them that they are
wrong. The coins on the hat tinkle and everyone hear that noise so they should be paid. The case
was closed and father said that their uncle died because of laughing.
