Have you read your library books yet?

Tomorrow is chapel day. Put an offering in the white
envelope (it is in the Daily Folder).
Remember to put your library books in your
backpack. Your books are due tomorrow.
Can you find the word can in a book you are
reading? Can you think of a word that rhymes with
can?
Take time to snuggle and read one of your library
books! J

This week we will return to the virtue of integrity. Integrity is God's power for you to be true
to Him and yourself. We will study this through exploring when God promised Abraham a son
(Genesis 15-20). I challenge you to discuss integrity at home and to ask yourselves... How do you
stay true to God's promises even when you don't understand God's plan.?

the privilege of supporting!
This week we are investigating trees by comparing their shape.
o You can help enrich our classroom experience by doing the following
Take pictures of the trees that are in your yard or parks you visit. You can print
copies or e-mail them and I will print them.
Look for branches (with and without leaves), sticks, acorns, pinecones, etc. and
bring them to school.
One of our reading strategies this week is making connections. You can practice this strategy by
talking about experiences that you remember by finishing this sentence this book reminds me
of a time when when you have finished reading.
We will be celebrating International Dot Day on Thursday! It will be a fun day! I have so
many ideas we may have to extend our celebration to include Friday!
