INTRODUCTION:
ll India Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Entrance exam

is commonly referred as AIPMT is a national
level entrance exam conducted by Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for
admission to MBBS and BDS programmes under 15%
All India Quota seats. AIPMT 2016 will be conducted
tentatively in the month of May 2016 in pen & paper
mode at around 1000 exam centres across India. Get

According to a national daily which quoted CBSE officials, a total of 4, 22,859 candidates took the retest out of a
total 6, 32,625 registered applicants. Experts suggest that AIPMT numbers might have fallen because of the late
admission scheduled prompted by cancellation of May 3 AIPMT exam. The cancellation has not only disturbed

AIPMT 2016 ELIGIBILITY:
andidates who will be going to apply for AIPMT

2016 are advised to read the eligibility criteria
to ascertain their qualification for the test. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as asked
by examination authority CBSE. As per the eligibility
criteria of AIPMT applicant must be at least 17 years old
as on December 31, 2016. The age limit is 25 years
for general and 30 years for SC / ST / OBC category
candidates. Candidates appearing for the exam must
have passed or appearing in 2016 for class 10+2 or
equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology (PCB) subjects.
According to examination authority CBSE officials,
admission to candidates through AIPMT 2016 will be
done only on fulfilment of eligibility criteria.

AIPMT 2016 Eligibility for

candidates from Andhra Pradesh,
Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana:
Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K
and Telangana are not eligible for AIPMT 15% All India
quota seats. If candidates wish to appear for exam
then they have to upload self-declaration form in
prescribed format. It must be noted that incomplete,
unsigned or photocopy of the self-declaration will be
summarily rejected. If the declaration found to be false
the admission will be cancelled and criminal proceedings will be taken for them.

AIPMT 2016 APPLICATION FORM:
he examination authority Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin the process
of AIPMT 2016 application tentatively in the
month of December, 2015. Candidates can fill
the AIPMT 2016 application form in online mode from
this page. Before applying they are advised to read the
eligibility criteria to ascertain their qualification and age
for AIPMT 2016 entrance exam. Only those candidates
will be at least 17 years old as on December 31, 2016

The registration process of AIPMT 2016 involves four

signature in JPEG format in prescribed format. In stage

There are many State Governments/Universities/Institutions voluntarily participate in AIPMT 2016 and use
its merit list for admission MBBS and BDS seats in their
respective Medical Colleges. The participating states
and medical colleges of AIPMT 2016 will not conduct
their own entrance exam to fill 85% MBBS and BDS
seats under their control. Application form of AIPMT
2016 participating states and medical colleges will be
announced individually by sates and colleges on or
before the AIPMT 2016 result.
Candidates are advised to take 3 or 4 printout copies

of the Confirmation Page of AIPMT 2016 online application, proof of fee paid and 2 or copies of identical

AIPMT 2016 EXAM PATTERN:
he entrance exam of AIPMT 2016 will be conducted tentatively on May 1 by the examination
authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who will appear for the
exam are advised to read AIPMT 2016 exam pattern
so that they can prepare and perform well in the exam.
As per the exam pattern, the exam will conducted in
pen and paper based mode for 3 hours duration in
a single session from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. The
detailed information is given below regarding number
of questions asked in the paper, subjects, marking
scheme and duration of AIPMT 2016 exam.

Point Pen. They dont have to carry any stationary

AIPMT 2016 ADMIT CARD & EXAM DAY GUIDELINE:

(CBSE). To download admit card, candidates have to

How to Download AIPMT 2016

Admit Card:

What to carry during AIPMT 2016

Exam -
Candidates have to paste their postcard size photograph in the format and space provided in AIPMT
2016 admit card. It is mandatory to paste photograph
on downloaded admit card otherwise candidates will
not be allowed to appear for entrance exam Under no
circumstances, the duplicate Admit Card of AIPMT
2016 will be issued to candidates.
Candidates have to carry their AIPMT 2016 Admit card

which have pasted postcard size photograph in the
given performa. The passport size photograph affixed
in the admit card must be duly attested by a Gazetted
Officer/Head of the Institution. Candidates will also
have to bring one passport size photograph for affixing
on the attendance sheet. The stationary items required
during the test will be provided by the exam authorities itself. The pen for marking in OMR sheet will be
provided at the centre.
AIPMT 2016 Exam Day Guideline:

Candidates are advised to reach their exam centre
at least 1 hour before the commencement of exam.
Examination Hall will be opened 45 minutes before the
commencement of the test. Candidates are advised

the conclusion of entrance test. AIPMT 2016 answer
key will be released by various medical coaching institutes like Aakash, Alllen, Carrer Point, Bansal etc. With
of downloaded answer key candidates can know their
marks based on the marked response. Based on the
evaluated marks candidates can figure out their total
score and know their probable all India rank in AIPMT

CBSE will also release official answer key of AIPMT

2016 before the declaration of result. Candidates can
challenge any questions or answer of AIPMT through a
given prescribed format. They also have to submit the
requisite fee for challenging. The fee will be refunded
to candidates if examination authority finds challenge
is valid and true.

AIPMT 2016 CUT OFF SCORE

MARKS BASED & RANK BASED:
he cut off score is the lowest possible score

that candidates must score to qualify the
AIPMT 2016 entrance exam. The examination
authority, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will decides AIPMT 2016 cut off score
based on the factors such as availability of seats,
number of applicants and difficulty level in the entrance
examination. Based on the cut off score number of
candidates will be called for counselling under 15% All
India Quota Seats. The AIPMT 2016 cut off score will
be announced with the declaration of result.

Based on the cut off score, CBSE draws top 15%
scorers among the qualified candidates in marks

number of candidates qualified in different categories for 15% all India quota seats. AIPMT counselling
is done on the AIPMT rank range. While the marks
range includes a range of scorers from the highest to
lowest within a category. For example, in the case of
last years AIPMT cut off, 695 was the highest score
while 453 the lowest within the unreserved category.

on the parameters like difficulty level of the entrance

AIPMT 2016 COUNSELLING:
he counselling of AIPMT 2015 is conducted

by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC),
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS)
tentatively from the month of August for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The counselling will be conducted in 3 rounds.

for allotment in MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All
India Quota. There will also be a waiting list equal to 4
times of the merit list.

AIPMT 2015 answer key not leaked says CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
has confirmed that the answer key of AIPMT 2015 has
not been leaked. According to a press release issued
by the Controller of Examination, K. K. Choudhury, the
exam was conducted in a smooth and fair manner and
no reports were received prior to the commencement
of the examination, during the examination or after the
examination from any quarter by the Board regarding
the leakage as alleged.

SC issues notice to CBSE over cancellation of

AIPMT 2015
The Supreme Court of India has issued notices to the
Centre, Haryana Government and Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) on petitions filed for reexamination of AIPMT 2015 due to alleged answer key
leak in the exam. According to media reports, a bench
led by Justice A K Sikri has sought the responses on
next hearing.

AIPMT 2015 cancelled; SC directs retest in 4
weeks
The Supreme Court on Monday, 15 June cancelled
AIPMT 2015 exam considering the likely adverse
impact on the exam and evaluation process due to
answer key leak during exam. The Apex Court has
annulled the All India Pre- Medical Entrance Exam after
taking into account the petitions filed by parents as well
as students demanding re-examination of the coveted
medical entrance examination of India. The court also
directed the exam authority, CBSE to conduct a re-test
within four weeks.

AIPMT 2015 Re-test on July 25, 2015
AIPMT 2015 retest will be conducted on July 25,
2015, the exam conducting body Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on June 23.
As per CBSE officials, the All India Pre Medical/Pre
Dental Test (AIPMT) 2015 applicants do not need to fill
fresh application form for re-appearing in AIPMT 2015.

AIPMT 2015 retest begins on July 25 amid tight
security; Around 6 Lakh candidates to take exam
AIPMT 2015 retest began sharp at 10:00 am amid
strict measures taken by examination authority Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). As per the
AIPMT 2015 exam guidelines, no candidates were
allowed to take any materials expect their retest admit
card inside the test centres.

AIPMT 2015 Result Announced on August 17
CBSE has declared AIPMT 2015 result on August 17
after AIPMT retest was conducted on July 25. The
result of AIPMT 2015 has been declared by August
17 as per the directive given by the Supreme Court on
June 25 while cancellation of the exam.
