The document provides procedures for simulating an antenna in CST Studio Suite software, including:
1. Creating a new project for antenna simulation and selecting the appropriate workflow and solver
2. Modeling the reflector, dipole, and director components of the antenna using cylinders of the specified dimensions and materials
3. Setting up the simulation by adding a discrete port and running it with hexahedral meshing at 50dB accuracy.

2. Modeling the reflector, dipole, and director components of the antenna using cylinders of the specified dimensions and materials
3. Setting up the simulation by adding a discrete port and running it with hexahedral meshing at 50dB accuracy.
2. Create new project. Then choose an application area which is MW & RF & Optical then Antenna and then select one of the workflows which is Wires. 3. Select the Time Domain in the recommended solvers for the selected work flow. 4. Set the given Units. Change the dimensions in cm and frequency in MHz. Set the settings of frequency Fmin=0MHz to Fmax=1800MHz. Select the farfield and define at 900. 5. Click the Cylinder button in Modeling interface and press ESC and set the assigned value for the reflector as per given on the figure above; for the Inner radius=0, Outer radius=0.1, Xcenter=0, Ycenter=0, Zmin=-Lreflector/2, Zmax=Lreflector/2. Change the material from vacuum to PEC. Click the preview then set the missing parameters where Value=0.500*30. Assume 30. 6. Click the Cylinder button in Modeling interface and press ESC and set the assigned value for the dipole as per given on the figure above; for the Inner radius=0, Outer radius=0.1, Xcenter=0, Ycenter=0, Zmin=-Ldipole/2, Zmax=Ldipole/2. Change the material from vacuum to PEC. Click the preview then set the missing parameters where Value=0.46*30. Assume 30. 7. Go to the navigation tree and find components then find dipole. Right click and click transform set the value for the Y axis where distancedipole and set the preview. 8. Click the Cylinder button in Modeling interface and press ESC and set the assigned value for the director as per given on the figure above; for the Inner radius=0, Outer radius=0.1, Xcenter=0, Ycenter=0.4*30, Zmin=-Ldirector/2, Zmax=Ldirector/2. Change the material from vacuum to PEC. Click the preview then set the missing parameters where Value=0.419*30. Assume 30. 9. Go to the navigation tree and find components then find dipole. Right click and click transform, set the parameters given check the box copy then scale. Uncheck the scale uniform, set the material as Vacuum. Set the Z component with value 1/20. Set the preview value. A box will appear Shape Intersection then click Insert highlighted shape then Ok. 10. Go to modeling and go the Pick figure and click pick edge. Click it on the edge of the object highlighted. 11. Go to simulation and click discrete port and Ok. 12. Go to home and select Setup Solver and set the parameters for mesh type Hexahedral and Accuracy=-50db. Click start for the simulation.
