PODs Fun Day
Parents of Dowsell Primary school would like
to invite you to our family fun day tomorrow.
There will be lots of exciting events ranging
from car boot sales, a bouncy castle and table
top sales. The event promises to be exciting
and money raised will further help provide
opportunities for our children.

Thank you very much to parents /carers who
have spoken with their children about cycling
and riding on their scooters on the school
site. Many parents /carers have told me how
pleased they are to see an improvement in
this area. Thank you.
Meet your childs teacher (open afternoon)
On the 19th September (Monday) parents
/carers are invited to see your childs class and
meet your childs teacher at the end of the
school day. Your child/children can accompany
you. This is an informal meeting whereby your
childs teacher will talk about expectations for
the year etc. This will also be a good opportunity for you to see what your childs learning environment looks like. We hope to see you at
school.

Year 6 parents /carers

Year 6 parents are invited to a special meeting to discuss plans and expectations for Year 6 as well as how
you could help prepare your child for Secondary
school. We will also discuss end of year , residential
trip etc.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 22nd September at 9:00 and will be repeated on the same day at
18:00 in the sports hall.
It will be appreciated if all Year 6 parents /carers can
attend..
