Market Snippet
Benchmark indices traded in green on the last trading
session of the week as weak economic data from US lowers
the hope for interest rate hike thus supporting the markets of
under developed economies. Besides, India's trade
deficit declined sharply to 38.1% to $7.67 billion in August
2016 from $12.39 billion in August 201.Nifty ended the
session to close in green at 8779.85 i.e. 37.30 points higher.
Eicher Motors, Grasim, ITC, BPCL were the top gainers of
the day while Yes Bank, BHEL, Tata Steel were the top
losers of the day.
Global Markets Update
Deutsche Bank shares sharply lower as U.S. seeks $14 bn to
settle mortgage-backed securities case. Bank has no intention
of settling the Department of Justice claims at the mentioned
figure.
Japan's Nikkei share average bounced back from three-week
lows as Apple-related shares rose on strong sales of new
iPhone 7 and as bank shares were bought back after heavy
selling earlier this week.

Infosys shares gains nearly 2 percent on the back of positive
news flow that company announced that it has fixed October
24, 2016 as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of
interim dividend.
ONGC ends in a green zone as signed agreements with
Russias national oil company Rosneft PJSC to acquire an
additional 11% stake in its unit.
Shares of sugar companies such as Dwarikesh Sugar,
Dhampur Sugar, Oudh Sugar etc were in demand as sugar
prices touched three-year highs due to strong demand from
bulk consumers for the festive season amid millers selling at
higher levels.
Wockhardt Pharma shares moved higher by 8 percent on
NSE on the back of media report that US drug regulator has
cleared the companys Chikalthana plant.
ICICI Bank tanks after reported a decline in advance tax
outgo for the September quarter. It has paid Rs 1,200 crore,
20 per cent lower than the same period a year ago.
Oil stocks in focus: Petrol price was hiked by 58 paise a litre
while diesel rate was cut by 31 paise per litre in line with
international trends.
Global Markets
European shares slipped on Friday and headed for their worst
weekly performance in three months, with Deutsche Bank
dragging financial services down after it said the U.S.
government was seeking billions of dollars to settle a
mortgages case.
Australia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains
in the Utilities, Consumer Discretionary and Healthcare
sectors led shares higher.
Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as
gains in the Consumer Industry, Agriculture and Manufacturing
sectors led shares higher.

its critical support line on daily chart.The key support for the markets is at 8650 and resistance is at 8825.
Bank Nifty Technicals
Bank Nifty traded in green in first half of the trading session and witnessed selling pressure in later half to
end the session at 19970 below the psychological mark of 20000 forming inverted hammer candle on
daily chart. The next key support for the banking index is at 19500 and resistance is at 20650.
