Welcome back to school for your year in Cycle 2. I am looking forward to a fantastic year together! A
successful classroom is built upon a foundation of mutual respect. With your cooperation we will be learning a
lot this year and having a lot of fun!

I expect that you will.

Be in your seat everyday when the bell rings ready to work.
Treat everything and everyone in the classroom with respect.
Wait until dismissed before leaving the classroom
Come to class everyday prepared with everything you need.
Should you not choose to meet these expectations.
Your classdojo points will be affected and indicated in your report.
A warning will be issued-first incident-removal of points- Yellow
2 Warnings = 1 Red (silent lunch)
2 Reds Repeat actions will be taken to the social worker for more intervention.

TEXTBOOK
We will be using: Inquiry Science, Student Book, Pearson.
What you need for class:
Your Interactive Student Notebook
Extra blank paper
Pencil, sharpener, eraser, highlighter & colored pencils
Your Science Book
Calculator
Bathroom Policy:
Students may be permitted to use the bathroom during class passing time. You will need to come and ask
me first to receive the class pass.
Absent/Late
Students who are absent must get the missing work from the classwork folders.
Students are responsible for making up any missed tests or quizzes
Late Policy
Refer to school policy, reported in classdojo
Extra Help
Extra help will be given as needed
Students that feel they need help should ask for help
And may come before school, during break or after school.
