service a specific bore require the VB-FIX,
a self-aligning valve body reaming fixture.

Tool KIt

1. Disassembly
a. Remove and save OE retaining plate.
b. Remove and discard OE valve and spring.
2. Bore Reaming
Ream B2/BR regulator bore (for reaming instructions/reamer care, please visit
www.sonnax.com). Sonnax reaming tool kit F-88740-TL4 and VB-FIX are
required for this operation.
3. Installation & Assembly
a. Thoroughly clean valve bore and body,
ensuring all debris is removed.
b. Install Sonnax spring over valve spring
stem. Insert valve/spring assembly into
bore.

Block worm track here

with Fun-Tak mounting
putty to vacuum test this
port. Be sure to remove
before final assembly.

c. Reinstall OE plate and tighten fasteners

to OE torque specification.

4. Final Testing
Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated
holds the recommended minimum 16
and 18 in-Hg.
