THE MEANING OF THE QUR'AN AND HADITH

LITERATURE IN ITS ROLE OF PROVIDING


SOLUTIONS TO HUMAN PROBLEMS OF
HYPOCRITES

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
A. Background
Al quran and Hadith are primary and secondary
guidelines Muslims which is the essence of the teachings of Islam.
Plus more scholars ijtihad that too became the guidelines for life.
God lowered the revelation or the Quran Allah be with verse verse
that still is global so that humans think and ikhtiyar. God make us to
understand Al Quran by Hadith and ijtihad assisted. With the ease
and grace that God gave the human main oblige us Muslims who is
given the ability and the opportunity more by God to never give up
studying the Quran and Hadith. Where this ilmi tholabul ikhtiyar
process produces some understanding and a different interpretation
in each individual. Up to served of which the meaning and role of al
quran and Hadith. Which one of them as a handle and the solutions
to problems that occur in life. The problem of cultural, social,
political, legal, and so on. All the problems of a complete written in
the quran which was later clarified by Hadith.
From these life issues, including the problem of social
politics there is human nature which is capable of creating an
invisible damage. The man hypocrite, where he is the man that is
difficult to distinguish the true worth of each speech and his actions.
Lay people who do not know it can get its circumvention. How
dangerous this kind of people, to the special one letter written in
the Qur'an, i.e. Surah Al-Munafiqun, meaning people who are
hypocritical or other human name hypocrite. Many once mentioned
in the Qur'an the word nifaq or munafiq. Similarly in the Hadith

explained the details of the signs people munafiq which will be


discussed further in this paper.

B. Formulation of The Problem


1. How is the view of the Qur'an and the Hadith about hypocrites
for humans?
2. How the meanings of the Holy Qur'an and Hadith from the
explanation of the hypocrite?

CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION

A. View of The Qur'an About Human Hypocrite


Hypocrite is one of the ignoble akhlaq if owned by
someone in an area, then it is possible the split and damage. This
hypocrite is always there from time to time with a bad sense of
increasingly varied way. Human kind like this more dangerous than
outright counter to Islam. Make us difficult to distinguish which one
is on the side of Islam and not in favour of Islam. In the Qur'an, God
himself has already mentioned that this kind of people will continue
to exist so that it becomes an appeal for us true Muslim to be the
culprit and don't get infected with viruses that damage the
hypocrite.
In the Islamic history of recorded figures the
hypocritical character at the beginning of the Messenger delivered a
treatise on God to mankind, human beings a human model that was
already there. The name Abdullah bin Ubai bin Salul a hypocrite,
morally unflinching. The names of the other Al Akhnas Ibn Syariq
Ats-Thaqaf. The latter, when each time met with Apostle, he always
flatter, praise, and accentuate the aspects as if he was a believer.
Akhnas didn't hesitate to swear in the name of God to convince
others that what he was saying it in accordance with the contents of
his heart. That's among the reasons for the decline in the Qur'an
about the nature of hypocrites.

1. The notion of hypocrites


Hypocrite or commonly known to us with hypocritical, in
the world of psychology including in human personality disorder.
Hypocrite in Islam as thoroughly discussed akhlaqul madzmumah
i.e. nifaq. Nifaq (
) comes from the word

taken from the word
( naafiqaa '). Nifaq in language
(etymology) means one hole place discharge yarbu ' (a type of
mouse) from the nest, where if he sought from pit one, then he will
come out of the other hole. Also, he is said to be derived from the
word
( nafaq) namely pit burrows.
Munafiq (noun, from the Arab
, plural: munafiqun)
is the Islamic terminology to refer to those who pretend to follow
the teachings of the religion but actually don't admit it in her heart. 1
It was so named because he entered on the Shari'ah from the one
door and out the door to another. Therefore God warned by his
word:










"Verily, those that they are munafiq people who fasiq." (At-Tawba:
67)













"Verily the hypocrites were placed on the lowest levels of hell.
(Nisaa: 145)

And he is of the people whose speech pleases you in worldly life,
and he calls Allah to witness as to what is in his heart, yet he is the
fiercest of opponents.

And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause
corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And God does not
like corruption.
2. Characteristics of Human traits Hypocrite
In the Qur'an mentioned traits or human signs of hypocrites, as
follows:

Meaning :
And there are some people who say: We believe in Allah and in

the last day; while they are not at all believers (8).
They desire to deceive Allah and those who believe, and they do
not deceive except themselves and they do not perceive (9).
There is a disease in their hearts, so Allah added to their disease
and for them is a painful chastisement because of the lie they
were saying (10).
And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land,
they say: We are but peace-makers (11).
Now surely they themselves are the mischief-makers, but they do
not perceive (12).
And when it is said to them: Believe as the people have
believed , they say: Shall we believe as the fools have

believed? Now surely they themselves are the fools, but they do
not know (13).
And when they meet those who believe, they say: We believe ;
and when they are alone with their Satans, they say: Surely we
are with you, we were only mocking (14).
Allah pays them back their mockery, and leaves them alone in
their rebellion blindly wandering on (15).
These are they who buy error for the guidance, so their bargain
brings (them) no gain, nor are they guided aright (16).
Their parable is like the parable of one who kindled afire, but
when it had illumined all around him, Allah took away their light,
and left them in utter darkness - they do not see (17).
Deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they will not turn back (18).
Or like an abundant rain from the heaven in which is utter
darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into
their ears because of the thunder peals, for fear of death, and
Allah encompasses the unbelievers (19).
The lightning almost takes away their sight; whenever it shines
on them they walk in it, and when it becomes dark to them they
stand still; and if Allah had pleased He would certainly have
taken away their hearing and their sight; surely Allah has power
over all things (20) .
And in the Hadith Rasulullah said,

Meaning:
"Signs of the hypocrites that there are three, yaitu if talking it lie,
if promised it in default and if gain the trust it khianat". (HR.
Bukhori and Muslim).
Abdullah bin Umar r.a. says:

Meaning:
"There are 4 properties of goods who have it then so it's a true
hypocrites, and whoever had the 1 nature among all the
properties, so it is running heading towards stained-glass till it
left it, when gain the trust it is dishonesty, when talking it lying,
when promised it defaults, when the partners they cheat.2
The Prophet pointed out that signs of hypocrites there
are three, that is when talking in terms of what their lying,
explains that have never needed actually, when he promised a
welfare to be met, he does not meet their pledge, and when in
trust to him something he do khianat not acting suitable Syara '.
3. Designates hypocrite
Those hypocrite according to tafsir in Al Qur'an, want to cheat
and do harm to the human race by three ways:
a) By words and interesting speech, so those who hear it
charmed and affected. Since then his heart be deceived, not
to mention a little doubt about the truth of his speech.
b) People that kind of easy hypocrite swear by Allah to show as if
it means good and right
c) Those hypocrite like that in debating and-quibble when facing
its opposition

Those evil-doers who want to smash the co-existence of


Allah, always controlled people who infiltrated hypocrite among
Muslims, acts as the enemy in the blanket, to racial Brotherhood
coaxing, so that the Believer ' shaky his conviction and
underestimate the rules of God. Those hypocrite the delayed
mission Al-Akhnas, doing various activity that damage, for
example:
a) They work together to propaganda and told munkar, prohibits
acts of kindness. (Q.S. 9/At-Tawba: 67)










The hypocrite hypocrite men and women are of one another.
They enjoin Al-Munkar (evil) and forbid from All-Ma'rf (good)
and withhold their hands (they act niggardly). They have
forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them. Indeed the
hypocrites are Al-Fsiqn.
b) Their oath as confiscated their hindering from the path of
Allah. (Q.S. 63/Al-Munafiqun: 2)



They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted
[people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they
were doing.

c) They cheat God, artian seems very enthusiastically in carrying


out the law of Allah but they strive to inhibit the occurrence of
Allah (Q.S. 4/An-Nisa: 142)























Indeed, the hypocrites [to think] deceive Allah, but He is
deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand
lazily, showing [addiction themselves to] the people and not
remembering Allah manufactured a little
d) When They met people believe, say believers with God but at

the back of believers, their mocking

( Q.S. 2/Al


Baqarah: 14)

And when they meet those who's believe, they say: "We's
believe"; and when they are alone with their Satans, they
say: "Surely we are with you, we were only mocking"
e) If to them is advised, do not do kerusakan and tyranny in the
face of the Earth, they said: "we are the ones who do good
and well-being and peace" (q. S 2/Al-Baqarah: 11)
f) If those hypocrites is heard the call: to submit to God's
revealed law and obey the Messenger of Allah, then they

And they say, "[We pledge] obedience." But when they leave
you, a group of them spend the night determining to do other
than what you say. But Allah records what they plan by night.
So leave them alone and rely upon Allah . And sufficient is
Allah as Disposer of affairs.
B. The Meaning of Qur'an And Hadith From Human Description
Of Hypocrites
1. The Role of The Qur'an Globally
The Qur'an was revealed to have several roles, Drs. Musyfuk
Zuhdi suggests there are four principal functions are:
a) A miracle as the Prophet Muhammad.
b) As the source of all Islamic law.
c) As the supreme judge (breaker or Corrector).
d) As the truth of the existence of the religion of God the
amplifier before the Prophet Muhammad.
2. The Functions of The Hadith
The function of the Qur'an against the Hadeeth includes three
principal functions, namely:
a) Strengthens and confirms the law contained in the Qur'an.

b) Outlines and detailing that are global (mujmal), associate the


absolute and the mentakhsiskan General (' am), Tafsil, Takyid,
and Takhsis function describes what is wanted of the Qur'an.
Rasululloh has the task of explaining the Qur'an as the word
Alloh SWT in QS. An-Nahl verse 44:



"And we have revealed to you the Qur'an, so that you may
explain to mankind what has been handed down to them and
that they may think" (QS. An-Nahl: 44)
c) Set and held a law which is not mentioned in the Qur'an. Law
is the product of the Hadith/Sunnah which is not indicated by
the Qur'an.
Islam is a religion of universal, celestial has the truth
(al-haq) are very basic, good character and identity as well as
patterns and how to apply them in human life, in the sense of
social and political life. The core of Islamic teachings found in his
Holy revelation: the Qur'an Al Karim
Therefore, there is no one else who is not the problems
referred to by the Qur'an in the sense of taka whatever make be
none God in it. Then who is following the instructions of the
Qur'an that people would no longer be heretical and won't harm.
But he who turns away from his warning, then God prepared him
a livelihood that is narrow. In that context, God commanded to
hear and heed the Qur'an as well as applying it in social and
political life.

So with Hadith, if it is written in the Qur'an is complete


all the problems of human life in spite of generally globally,
certainly in the Hadith will be more complete and clear about all
aspects of these problems in the Qur'an. The main reason the
Hadith itself is explained or focus problems or law that is still
common in the Qur'an. Through the Prophet that instantly gets a
lesson from God, the Angel Gabriel Hadith also deceived the
people. No doubt the words, deeds of Prophet in the form of the
Hadith, Hadith qudsi plus also comes directly from God. It was all
one goal to simplify and make us humans think in living the life
of a world that is just looking for a provision for the hereafter.
Already bright that Al-Qur'an al-Karim and Hadith of the
Prophet

is

the

source

of

the

teachings

of

Islam

while

simultaneously living guidelines of every muslim. In the Islamic


world, Al-Qur'an, commonly known as a primary source (the first)
and the Hadith as a second source of Islam after the Koran. The
Qur'an is the word of God or kalam which were revealed to the
Prophet Muhammad who read it is a worship (Manna ' Khalil alQaththan, 1994:6). While the Hadith or sunnah is also called all
the words, deeds and happenings related to the Prophet
Muhammad. In his capacity as a guideline of life amongst
Muslims, Quran and Hadith cannot be separated because the
Qur'an as the main source cited by the Hadith, so that the Hadith
is referred to as bayan against Qur'an surat al-Nahl verse 44.
Refer to the above description, then as a guide to life, the Qur'an
and the Hadith should be made into priests or followup in
everyday life which both the source observed, referenced and
funded his commandments and stopped his prohibitions.

CHAPTER III
CLOSING

Conclusion
All the problems of life has not left a single complete
explained in the Qur'an the Hadith clarified through Rasullah. No
exception

regarding

the problems

of the human that is

hypocritical or hypocrite. Humans who do good damage to itself


or others even if the person is not related. This problem is very
complex, only the Qur'an and the Hadith that we can make
appropriate reference to find the solution without adding new
problems again.
