Your Analysis

How important is it for teachers and curriculum planners to anchor their curricular plans
to specific theories and principles of curriculum development?

Theories and principles of curriculum development were rigorously studied and

evaluated. This means that before coming up with these theories and principles, a
lot of studies and researches were conducted. This makes the theories and
principle reliable. This is the primary reason that teachers and curriculum
planners need to anchor curriculum plans to the theories and principles of
curriculum development. Another thing is that, these theories and principles
ensures the consideration of every stakeholders of the curriculum planning and of
the optimum goal of our educational system.

Aside from the teachers, who else should be involved in the curriculum planning?
Explain your thoughts.
-

Students. Students should be involved significantly. Curriculum planners should

consider the needs of the students in terms of planning.
Community. Curriculum planners also need to consider what is needed in the
society nowadays. The goals of the curriculum should always be for the
development of the society.
School administrators. Of course they should be the one that is helping the
teachers in the curriculum planning. The curriculum planning with the help of the
school administrators should abide to the goals of our educational system. They
need to ensure that.
Parents. They should be knowledgeable about the curriculum for them to guide
their children in attaining the goals of the curriculum. In order to that, they should
be involved in curriculum planning. Their thoughts might be also helpful.
LGU/NGO/Government organization. Different organization should also be
involved because these are the primary source of budget in implementing the

curriculum. Also theses organization (DepEd and CHED) mandates the national
goal of educational system where objectives of the curriculum should be anchored

Your Reflections

reflection. Express it in a simple poem. Then share it with your classmates and FS

Noblest

Keep in mind, be careful

Though not be neglectful
They may say youre a fiend
But theyll sure understand in the end

Go ahead cry unto them

Made them feel thy passion
Shelter their emotions
For theyre fragile and needs attention

Go took care of those rosebuds

Made feel theyre important
Hone their Beings

For they will bloom and will be abundant
