Using the EQ 360: Your Quick Guide to Getting Started

G E T TING S TA R TED
To use the EQ 360, log in to your EQ-i 2.0 portal account and
click the Assessments tab. Select the EQ 360 and follow the
instructions on your screen.
The administration of the EQ 360 is divided into four steps.

S T EP 1: INV ITE A PARTI C I PANT

On the EQ 360 page, click the Invite button on the left.
Choose a method to invite participants.

If you are entering raters, click Enter Raters now. Click

Manage Raters next to the participants name and enter
the relevant rater information.
Select a rater group for each rater you enter. Groups
include direct reports, manager, family/friends, peers, and
others.
At least three raters need to be assigned to a group. If there
are less than three raters, they will merge with other raters
as part of the Other group to preserve anonymity. The
only group that will be scored with less than 3 raters is the
Manager group.

Click Personal Invitation to email individual participants

a unique link to take the self-report version of the EQ 360
online, or
Click Import an EQ-i Record to import any EQ-i 2.0 results
from within the last three months, or
Click Open Invitation to distribute a universal link to
multiple participants.
If you allow the participant to nominate his or her own raters,
the participant will be prompted to nominate raters as soon
as he or she completes the EQ-i 2.0. However, if you imported
the participants EQ-i 2.0 record, the participant will receive an
email with a link to nominate raters on the Rater Nomination
screen.
Participants should keep the invitation link they receive in
order to add any new raters at a later date.
After a rater has been nominated, they will receive an
invitation email containing a unique link to take the EQ 360
assessment.
Enter participant information into the text boxes, or upload a
list.
Organize the participants into folders.

S TEP 3: add comments

Select or enter the Comment Questions.

S T EP 2: NOM INATE R AT ERS

As part of the EQ 360 administration, raters are invited to
complete the assessment as well. However, the raters are not
rating their own EQ-i 2.0, but the EQ-i 2.0 of the participant.

You can add a maximum of five questions, which can be

any combination of the existing questions or your own
questions.
Once you complete the invitation, emails will be sent to the
participants you have entered.

On the Rater Nomination page, you have the option to add

the raters and/or allow participants to nominate their own
raters.
