Repeat the same process to paint


over the hair using light and dark tones. When
youre done, perform a two-finger pinch to
zoom out. Use two fingers to drag the canvas
so that you can continue painting on the area
to the right of your figure.

case, the blur will disappear completely.

the Motion Blur Effect onto part of your

Step 1: Open your image in the photo


editor (Hint: the Clone Tool works best
on images with simple or patterned
backgrounds). Tap on Tool and select the
Clone Tool.

Tap on the part of your image


that youd like to clone we want to clone
the figure in the image, so we selected the
area just above the head (you can always tap
on the target icon at the top of the screen
to reset your selection). Tap on the circular
icon to open the brush settings menu.

Step 3: Use the sliders to customize


your brush settings. We increased the brush
size and reduced the opacity slightly (the
reduced opacity will make the cloned figure
appear transparent super cool!). Tap on
the check mark to confirm.

Step 4: Use your finger or stylus to paint


on the cloned figure (if you make a mistake
you can always tap on the back arrow to
undo it or tap on Erase to switch to the
Eraser Tool).

Step 5: Paint on a third cloned figure (the


opacity will automatically be reduced again).
When youre done, tap on the check mark to
confirm.

Step 6: Tap on the Save icon to save your


image. Tap on the Share icon to share it. Add
the hashtag #CloneTool to your image so
that everyone can find it!

Step 1: Open the picture youd like to


edit in the photo editor. Use one of your
own shots, or find an image you like by
searching for #FreeToEdit in the app. Tap

Step 1: Open a photo of a person from


the back in the photo editor. You can

#FreeToEdit image in the app. Tap on the
Tool icon and select the Free Crop Tool.

the figure. You can perform a two-finger

Step 1: Open a blank project in Draw. Tap


on the Add icon and select Photo. Select
the image youd like to work with. You can
use one of your own photos, or find an
image tagged with #FreeToEdit.

so that it covers the entire canvas, and drag
it to place it. Tap on the layers icon to open
the layers drawer.

Step 3: At the top of the layers drawer,


tap on the plus sign and select Empty
Layer.

drawer, tap on the Add icon and select
Photo. Select the same image.

Step 5: Use the slider at the bottom of


the layers drawer to reduce the opacity to
about 50% (this will make it easier to align
your added image). Tap on the layers icon to
close the layers drawer.

Step 1: Open a portrait in the photo


editor. Use one of your own shots or find
one in the app by searching for #FreeToEdit
and #Portrait. Tap on the Add Photo icon
and select a photo of an animal.

Tap on Normal and select the


Multiply blending mode.

Step 3: Use the arrows icon in the bottom


right corner to enlarge the added image. Use
the circular arrows icon to rotate it. Drag the
image to place it so that the face lines up
with your portrait.

Step 5: Use your finger or stylus to erase


the edges of the added image. If you erase
too much, tap on the paintbrush icon to
switch to the Paintbrush Tool and paint the
added image back on. When youre done,
tap on the check mark to confirm.

Step 6: Now well repeat the process to


add a few leopard spots onto the arms of
our subject. Tap on the plus sign and select
Photo. Choose the same photo.

Tap on the paintbrush icon.
