1.The article entitled Computerized Grading System (2001) states that Automation
has had a notable impact in a wide range of industries beyond manufacturing
(where it began). Once-ubiquitous telephone operators have been replaced largely
by automated telephone switchboards and answering machines. Medical processes
such as primary screening in electrocardiography or radiography and laboratory
analysis of human genes, sera, cells, and tissues are carried out at much greater
speed and accuracy by automated systems. Applying automation to Grading
systems wherein it will also make a task easy and accurate.
2.The thesis entitled Automated Grading System of LCC (2001) states that This
study was conducted to help the college faculty in the computation of students
grades and to help the college faculty in the computation of students grades and to
provide them with a tool or a system that would easily accommodate carefully
manage the computation of students grades with a large number of students, can
generate a specially designed report that will meet the requirements of the registrar
and would provide efficient and effective data storage and security to stored data.

4.The thesis entitled Enrollment System for Meridian Educational Institution by Ryan
Jalinao, Noel Eldueza and Jeffrey Opone (2001) states that The study is to create a
system that will help the Meridian Educational Institution to their enrollment system
to secure the safety of their files. Specifically to provide a system that is capable in
monitoring users, to provide a system that is reliable in terms of security and to
provide a system, which can view information about the enrollees.
5.The thesis entitled Computerized Grading of La Consolacion College- Bian By
Soleil Eugenio and Catherine Aragon (2006) states that Researchers are aiming to
eliminate problems recognized in the area of the study of the enrollment process by
computerizing the manual-based enrollment system. This system will be designed
based on the needs of the registrars office, finance, and also the students.

1.The article entitled Aplia Computer Grading in Gamut News by Dr. Harold Elder
(2011) stated that Write Experience will use artificial intelligence to examine and
grade students written assignments. This complete will be instantaneous and its
based on the accuracy and proficiency of their writing. It is important for students
to learn hands-on to accomplish improving their writing skills, Elder said. He stated
his goal is to make his students efficient writers. Cengage will make sure the
personal grading is in line with the human grading, Walsh said. We hope applying
class lessons in a written format will add to their understanding of the subject,
Walsh said. Before there was Writing Experience in microeconomics 110, clickers
were used. We have used clickers in these classes before, but nothing like Write
Experience Walsh said. I think [Write Experience] will be harder, but I wont be
sure until Ive used it, stated John Baber, a freshman in microeconomics. Baber
also stated that he feels that this type of system for grading writing will be used in
the future.
2.The article entitled Computer Grading thread of Adam Waxler (2003) stated that
There is another thread running right now about what color to correct in and using
a computer vs. written grade book. I am a huge proponent of computerized grading
and was surprised to see how many teachers are still using a written grade book. So
I was thinking about putting some type of resource together on various computer
grading systems, with some of their advantages and disadvantages, so people can
research which is best for them and/or their school. I was hoping people on this
forum could help me with this. For those of you who are using a computer grade
system, could you please tell me which software you use and why or why not you
like the program. For example, I use PowerGrade (developed by Apple) and love it.
Despite a few glitches now and then, it saves me countless hours. It's easy for me
to access real-time grades, print up reports whenever I choose, parents can access
these grades from home, I can take attendance etc. Also, it makes automatic
backups to the main server so I never have to worry about losing information.
mygradebook.com allows teachers to input grades, send out mass e-mails to
parents with one click, give a link to your class website, print out multiple reports,
assign student passwords so that parents can check progress of student, and more.
Gradewizard.com seems to offer the same things. It also gives you five pages (I
think it is five) to develop a website within the gradebook. This would be great if you
did not have a website for your class and wanted a quick and easy one.
3.The article entitled Grading Systems (2011) states that "The general University

grading system is applicable to all of Stanford University except the Graduate

School of Business, the School of Law, and M.D. students in the School of Medicine.
Note that the GPA (grade point average) and rank in class are not computed under
the general University grading system. Stanford does use an internal-only GPA
which is based on units completed up to the time of conferral of the first bachelor's
degree. This information is used for internal purposes only (including academic
standing) and is not displayed on the official transcript which is sent outside the
University. Most courses are graded according to the general University grading
system. However, courses offered through Law, Business, and Medicine are graded
according to those schools' grading systems, even in cases where students in other
programs are enrolled in their classes. Note also that, as to graduate students, there
may be departmental requirements as to grades that must be maintained for
purposes of minimum academic progress.
4.The article entitled Computerized Library system (2010) states that "In the aim of
the universities to supply the necessary materials to their students, the idea of
library management system is introduces. This involves the utilization for
processing, accessing and retrieving the information that can effectively support the
process of students learning, decision- making and scholastically approaches.
Because of the organized approach and systematic management of the information,
the accessibility and retrieval in the library can be easy. However, how effective
does the computerized library system in the schools or universities to be
implemented across the country.

5.The article entitled Computerized Enrollment System (2010) states that The
computerized enrollment system enables the curriculum staff to keep information
about students, courses and tracks, and generate the enrollment list and send
messages to the students. It also enables the students to prepare their matrices,
sign up for courses, get course and track information and send messages to the
curricular officer through the application. The curriculum staff has reviewed the
program and thought that it could be used in the real-world environment.
