SUSTAIN-T-Technologies for Sustainable Development is an ERASMUS MUNDUS


Partnership (EMA2 strand1) project funded by the European commission, coordinated
by Politecnico di Milano and co-coordinated by Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. The
project aims at enhancing the international capacity of European and Latin American
Institutions on innovative technologies for sustainable development.
The SUSTAIN-T project provides scholarships to undergraduate and master students,
doctorate, post-doctorate, Academic and Administrative staff for mobility between Europe and
Latin America, mainly in the areas of Engineering, Architecture and Urban Planning.

Available Scholarships

Undergraduates
Exchange mobility: 6 or 10 months
1000 per month
Masters
Exchange mobility: starting from 6 months
1000 per month

Pre-Eligibility requirements*
Nationals of the Latin American countries concerned by the geographical lot
(Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Panam,
Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela) who:
- are registered/work in one of the Latin American Higher Education Institutions
member of the partnership
- have obtained a university degree or equivalent by an institution of these
countries (students only)
- are registered/work in a higher education institution of these countries that

PhD
Exchange mobility: 11 months
1500 per month
Post-Doc
Exchange: 10 months
1800 per month

Academic or Administrative Staff


Exchange: 1 month
2500 per month
The scholarship also includes:

travel costs, tuition fees and insurance

is not included in the partnership (students and staff) or have obtained a university
degree or equivalent by an institution of these countries (students only)
A number of dedicated scholarhsips will be allocated to candidates
who are in a particularly vulnerable situation for social and political
reasons.
