We claim:WE CLAIM :
1.) A circuit for reducing power losses reducing in a transistor circuit , comprising:
the transistor operable in ON and OFF state; the circuit comprising:
an inducting component connected in series with the transistor;
a load connected in series with the inducting component; and
a voltage source coupled to the load;
wherein the transistor controls the supply of voltage to the load and wherein the
inducting component opposes the rise of current through the transistor during the
ON state thereby reducing power losses.
The4.) A circuit for reducing power losses in a transistor as claimed in claim 3, further
comprises a diode connected in parallel to the coil for freewheeling.
The5.) A circuit for reducing power losses in a transistor as claimed in claim 4, further
comprises a resistor between the load and the inducting component.
