Screen Panels
Description
Perform all tasks in General Rules & Tips
Visually inspect feed connection to feeder and desilter for leaks.
Tighten up connection if required.
Use a water hose, wash off accumulated process material from
interior of shaker and angle adjustment components. Excessive
process material in these areas may impede angle adjustment of
screen frame and can reduce screen frame vibration if the frame
bottoms out on the buildup.
Check interior of feeder for accumulation of process material or
other obstruction. Feeder blockage may cause excessive
splashing and uneven distribution of slurry onto the screen bed.
Use a water hose, wash accumulated process material from
interior walls and screen frame bed. Excess accumulation
increases the load on the float mounts and reduces solids
separation capabilities
Check tension and condition of screen panels. They should be in
complete contact with the screen frame bed and should not have
holes or other damage that would allow solids to pass through.
Replace damaged screen panels. (See User Manual for
procedure to adjust tension or replace screen panels)
