Admin Meeting 8/5/16 (10:00 AM)

Our role is to ensure that all students get a quality education by supporting our students and staff
and providing the resources. Our main purpose is to make sure they are ready for middle school,
high school and college, or whatever they decide after high school.
Review protocols
Review agenda
R: I will make the agenda, let me know if there is anything to add to the agenda.
R: I have an open door policy, okay to disagree behind closed doors, but come out as a
united front.
R: When we open up all new meetings with staff we start with something positive and
saying Im in
o M: Im excited for the new opportunity to work with the kids, Im in.
o F: Im proud of what Ive done and Im excited to help provide a safe space, Im
100% in.
o R: I took my time this morning and Im in a calm morning, its good.
R: If you are running late or something happens just text me and let me know.
First Couple of Weeks
We will want to be here at 7 each day and we may need to stay a little later the first
couple of weeks to make sure all of the kids get home safely.
History about the school
Numbers 389, still growing, most of our kids our FRL, they do get uniforms during open
house, parents go to the media center and register for uniforms
We do a field trip to go get uniforms
If parents are upset, just listen first and then speak. They wont hear you if you are both
speaking
Youll have parents who will call you everyday, they just want to be heard and tell you
about their child and they just want to know that you care about their child.
o They want to make that connection with you and want you to listen.
We have one more AE spot to interview for
Admin Meetings
R: Every Monday at 10AM admin meeting let me know if there is ever anything you
want on the agenda and Ill put it on there
Duties and Responsibilities:
Admin transfers: We will only admin transfer students if blood in drawn. If it is
something sexual, the district wants us to work with the students.
Review all admin duties
AM/PM Duties we will all have a post at the start of and end of days.

Analyze Behavior/Testing Data we will review this data every week.


Attendance Fabrice will review to see who is missing days and establish next steps for
helping the student and family
Art Leadership Team Renee will do that to make sure we are doing what we say we are
going to do.
Backpack Buddies kids get to take food home on Fridays, no questions asked
Behaviors We try not to suspend students, we try to work with students in teachable
moments.
Behavior Support Team (BAT), look at data, look at frequent fliers and work to find
out what is causing [Wednesday at 10AM?]
Building Emergency Plan/ Site Safety Plan need to update on Admin portal
Budget Renee does and gets parent, staff and student input
Bulletin
Collaborative Schedules we will decide what teams we will sit on when they start
Completion Ceremonies teachers do

Curriculum standards, reading specialist or Sonja; Fabrice with French

504 Plan working with Special Education team; Fabrice and David
2nd Harvest drop off food once a month and parents pick it up (no questions asked);
bring in fresh veggies and fruits

If you buy anything, you dont get reimbursed, keep your recipes for taxes.
Grant for French Materials
Fabrice will work on the Grant and work with the department at the district
Michael and Renee will write something up about literacy for the grant for the team to
review.
