Worldview
A worldview is the basis from which one uses with regard to reality, life, and
the world. World view comes from the German word weltanschauung; the
combination of welt, which means world, and anschauung, which means
perception. Christians have a biblical worldview in which the Bible is the
foundation. Non-Christians use their feelings and emotions as the framework for
their worldview. Both Christians and non-Christians worldview are shaped by
media, the law, politics and other influences in the world. The most important
aspect of ones worldview is truth and what they believe to be true.

The book of Genesis, Chapter 1 explains how life began, God created the
Heavens and the Earth. (American Standard Bible, Gen. 1.1) God created
everything on Earth from the grass on the ground to the clouds in the sky. Gen.
1.26-27 tells us He created man in his image. He delicately planed and formed
every person. God created the first man named Adam and from him Eve was
created. They were the foundation for humanity on Earth. Just as He created man,
He also created animals.
Just as God carefully planned out his creation of each human, he also planned
out their future as written in Jer.29.11-14. God has given us a future and a hope, it
is through prayer that we call upon Him and ask for Him to show us these plans.
Eph. 2.19 tells us that we are not just citizens of the Earth but also members of the

house of God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He lives in us and it
shows through us. He gives us a purpose and a moral compass to live by. Our
purpose in life is to glorify Him, through our actions, words, and thoughts. We are to
be missionaries of Christ in everything we do.
Non-Christians view things in black, white, and grey; the Bible teaches
Christians that there is only black and white. Everyone has a moral compass and
their belief of what is right and what is wrong. There is only right and wrong and
God has given us 10 commandments to live by in Exod. 20.1-17. These 10
commandments teach us right and wrong and how to live a life of Christ. These
commandments are a moral guide for Christians. If one lives by these
commandments of God he will have eternal life (John 3.16). The book of
Revelation tells us what is to come. As Christians and believers of Christ we have
life after death in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. Death on Earth is not the end
but the beginning to a beautiful life in the Heavens, finally meeting our maker.
Revelation also tells us what is to come if we do not believe in The Lord and Savior.
All will eventually die, some will pass before Jesus comes back to Earth and some
will be here when He returns. Revelation tells us that those who believe in Him and
show and tell the world of His love, will be in Heaven with Him when they die and
will not be here on Earth for his return. Those who do not live a Christian life, will be
here for the destruction of Earth if they are not already living in Hell.

In John 15.12 God tells us to love each other as he loves us. Having a
biblical worldview helps us interact with the world in a different way than those who
do not. We are to be kind to all things and love all things. God commands us to

love and accept others and show them His love through us even if we do not agree
with their choices or beliefs. Christians are to be respectful, loving, and
understanding. These actions help show others His love and help open the door for
Christians to tell others of His love in hopes of having them accept Christ as their
Lord and Savior.
Voting is one of the oldest traditions here on Earth. In John 19, people were
given the choice to vote to free one of the three men on the cross. They choose to
save Barabbas and not Jesus. He knew this was to come because His death would
lead to His resurrection and greater things. In todays society citizens of the United
States vote for their leaders. Deut. 1.13 tells us to choose wisely. Christians are to
pray for Gods guidance in their voting decisions. Not all leaders live a Christian life,
but praying to God will ensure you vote for who He says should lead you as told in
Deut. 28.1-68.

A Christian worldview gives us a Godly outlook and impression on the world
around us. We are to pray for guidance and answers, and tell and show the world of
His love. The Bible is the foundation of Christians existence and morals. All
questions of meaning, life, purpose ect can be found through His word and
through prayer.
