THANK YOUS

The amount of thanks I have to give in the making of this album could fill up an entire novel. I could go
into depth for ages about every single person listed, but alas, I have only a small amount of space to work
with. I will start by thanking the one person who is truly responsible for making me the person I am today.
My blessing of a mother, Debra McCann. Among endless lessons, she taught me how to let passion drive
my life and pave its way through obstacles. She also taught me to work hard and finish what I start.
I also wouldnt be where I am today if it werent for the unconditional support of my step-father John
McCann, who loved me like his own blood and encouraged me to go on where most would have given up.
To me, He is as close as it gets to a living superhero. Next I have to thank my brothers Blayre, Chase and
Johnny for their belief in me. We seem only to bring out the best in one another and it is so rewarding
working together as a family. I couldnt ask for better siblings. Thank you as well to my father Jeff Ellestad,
his wife Yan-Ling and my step-brother Liam for your love and enthusiasm.
Next I have to thank Rami Samir Afuni. We have been working on music for nearly five years now, and in
that time have been learning and growing from one another. The making of Ramis mind is pure genius
and its a complete honor that he placed so much belief in me from the start. I am so excited to be the
first signing on his new record label Lokal Legend, and am already anxious to get started on the next
album with him. Life brought us together for a reason and I believe we have merely scraped the surface
of what the two of us can accomplish.
On my album, I had the pleasure of working with some incredible writers and producers, all of whom are
very close friends of mine. Jordan Orvosh, Espen Berg, Simen Eriksrud, Carlos St. John, Shirazi and Corey
Latif, Joey Bada$$ and Mick Jenkins, thank you for being part of my album and for helping me create this
unbelievable body of work. I am so fortunate to know all of you so well and working together has been
such a pleasure.
Recently I was fortunate to join forces with Island Records and couldnt ask for a better team of people
to work with. Thank you David Massey for guiding me and believing in me through the years. Thank you
