a. Next MPNAI regular monthly members meeting is Tues., August 10th at Stewart Park meeting room, 6 to 8
pm, Board meeting follows (NO MEETING IN JULY!)

c. In addition to meeting with neighborhood organizations, NCEC will host five community meetings around
the city. The one closest to MPNAI residents is Wednesday, June 9, 6 - 8 pm, Powderhorn Park, 3400 14th

d. The Midtown Community Works Partnership, thru Project for Pride in Living (PPL), has 4 Down Payment
Assistance Grants available. If you know of someone that is buying a home in this area, please advise them
of the $5,000 grant and have them call PPL at 612-455-5221. If you see a “For Sale” sign in the front yard of
a home next to you, or on your block in this area, please advise the Realtor of the Down Payment Assistance
program, as an incentive for a new home buyer. The area eligible for this grant is: Chicago Avenue on the
west to 12th Ave. S. on the east (including the east side of 12th). East Lake Street on the south to East
24th Street on the north.
