OUTPUT
We have selected gender wise for split analysis
INTERPRETATION
We can see in data view the females and males in split form.
Similarly ,we can split accordingly the income, height etc. Split file is
very important tools by which we can enlist all the different specialties
according to their given series.

OUTPUT
The females are appeared to be selected and new column has been
created
INTERPRETATION
These are used when the data is big and relevant data is required,
basically to sort the data.
OUT PUT
The output will appear in output screen.
INTERPRETATION
Cross tabs have helped us in know the relationship between age and
gender.
Split
file
has three
main
1.
CROSS TABS
To summarize a single categorical variable, we use frequency tables. To
summarize the relationship between two categorical variables, we use a
cross-tabulation (also called a contingency table). A cross-tabulation
(or crosstab for short) is a table that depicts the number of times each of
the possible category combinations occurred in the sample data.
USES
SPSS CROSSTABS produces contingency tables: frequencies for one
variable for each value of another variable separately. If assumptions are
met, a chi-square test may follow to test whether an association between
the variables is statistically significant.
