REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2014-362

AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING PEDESTRIAN LANES IN
AVANCENA STREET, NORTH FUNDIDOR, MOLO DISTRICT,
PARTICULARLY INFRONT OF ILOILO INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN
MISSION SCHOOL (llCMS)
Sponsored by Councilor Plaridel C. Nava II, duly seconded
by Councilors Eduardo L. Penaredondo and Armand S.
Parcon
WHEREAS, there is a need to open pedestrian lanes along Avancena Street,
North Fundidor, Molo District, particularly in front of lloilo International Christian Mission
School (llCMS), that would ease pedestrian crossing and vehicular traffic in the area
which caters a number of business establishments and educational institutions.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City
of tloilo. that:
Section 1. - Pedestrian lanes are hereby established along Avancena Street,
North Fundidor, Malo District, particularly in front of lloilo International Christian Mission
School (llCMS)

Section 2. - The City Engineer's Office in coordination with the Transportation

Management and Traffic Regulation Office (TMTRO) is hereby mandated to establish
pedestrian lanes along Avancena Street, North Fundidor, Molo District, particularly in
front of lloilo International Christian Mission School (llCMS), subject to the prescribed
rules and re'Qulatlons;
Section 3. - All existing ordinances, executive orders, regulations or parts thereof
in conflict with any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, amended
and revised;
Section 4. - If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid by a competent
court, the remained provision shall not be affected thereby.
Section 5. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
