TARGET REGATTA NQ CHAMPS THIS WEEKEND
Notes for Athletes for this block: Taper and Race. Short sharp sessions. Ensure 100% intensity in
pieces even though the duration of sessions is short. Maximum recovery. By the end of this week you
should feel like you have not done enough work and you are wanting more.

10' Light Aerobic warm up swim/cycle/run. Full Stretch.

SET 2: 15' Race Start Practice (Do not cram this. Take your time. Do a selection of race starts from
80%up). SET 3: 250m@RP from Start, 250m@Lt, 250m@RP, 250m@Lt. SET 4: Warm down
500m@30%pressure, 1/4 Slide strikes every thrird stroke.
