Singapore Tourism Board Lyft Contest (the Challenge) the casting call
Official Rules
No Purchase or Obligation Necessary to Enter or Claim a Prize.

CHALLENGE DATES:
The Challenge begins on September 23, 2016, at 8:00:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends at 9:00:00 PM PT on
September 24, 2016 or whenever all ten (10) prizes are awarded, whichever comes first (the Challenge Period).

ELIGIBILITY:
Challenge is open to legal residents of the greater San Francisco, CA metropolitan area, who are eighteen (18) years
of age or older at the time of participation (you or Participant). Employees of Singapore Tourism Board (Sponsor),
prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies including 1000heads, Inc. and Marden-Kane, Inc. and each of
their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees, and the immediate families
(spouse, and parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) (collectively
Releasees), and individuals living in the same households, whether related or not, of the above, are not eligible to
enter or win a prize. Each Participant by participating in the Challenge agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and
that of the Sponsors decisions. Void outside of the greater San Francisco, CA metropolitan area and where prohibited
or restricted by law. The Challenge is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
HOW TO ENTER:
General Description:
During the two (2) day Challenge Period one (1) Lyft car will be designated as the Lyft Challenge car. When the Lyft
Challenge vehicle stops to pick up a customer they will be invited to participate in the Challenge. A representative of
the Sponsor (the Producer(s)) will ask the Participant a series of questions and/or challenges. It is not the object to
get the most number of questions and/or challenges answered correctly, but rather to show your unique style and
enthusiasm for participating in the Lyft Challenge.
Consumers who want to participate:
If you would like to participate you will first be asked a series of questions to verify you are eligible to
participate in the challenge. If you meet the eligibility requirements you will then be required to complete and
sign an affidavit of eligibility /publicity release. Then, once in the Lyft vehicle you will participate in the Lyft
Challenge.
Consumers who do not want to participate:
If you do not want to participate the camera will be turned off and you will not be asked the eligibility questions
nor to complete the affidavit of eligibility /publicity release and you will be given a ride to your destination.
How to participate:
Once a Participant is in the Lyft vehicle Producers will start recording (the Video). Producers will ask the Participant a
series of questions and/or challenges. Participant could/should answer questions to the best of their ability while also
demonstrating their charisma and enthusiasm to participate..
How to Win:
At the conclusion of each Lyft car ride, the Producers will screen each Participant based on the following Screening
Criteria (the Screen Criteria):
Desirable Attributes:

 Positive and vibrant demeanour

Obvious willingness to take part
On-camera ease
Demonstrated eagerness to learn about Singapore
Demonstrated eagerness to travel to Singapore
Non-Desirable Attributes:
Stoic and stand-offish demeanour
Lethargic attitude to activation or questions posed
Awkwardness on-camera
Ambivalence towards learning about or traveling to Singapore
Use of curse words, negative language or otherwise inappropriate topics specific this particular activation
(political or religious speak, for example)
Once the Producers have evaluated the Participant based on the above Screening Criteria the Producer will let the
Participant know if they are a winner.
Participation Limit: One (1) Challenge per person. Decisions of the Sponsor and/or the Producer are final and binding
on all matters relating to this Challenge. Final decisions are at the sole discretion of the Producer.

If the Producer determines that the content of the Participant is obscene, offensive, or inappropriate, the Participant will
not be eligible for any prize consideration and may be withdrawn from the Challenge at any time at the sole discretion
of the Producer. By participating in the Challenge, Participant agrees to comply with the Challenge Official Rules.
Participants that do not comply with these Official Rules, as determined in Producers sole discretion, will be
disqualified from the Challenge.

PRIZES:
Ten (10) Grand Prize Winners: a five (5) night trip to Singapore for the winner only (no guest) on dates specified by
the Sponsor (currently planned for October 5, 2016 (arrive in Singapore on October 7, 2016) - October 12, 2016).
Approximate Retail Value: $2,500.00 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $25,000.00.
Additional conditions of Grand Prize trip:
Prize will be forfeited if a winner is not available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor (currently planned for
October 5, 2016 - October 12, 2016).
In the event the trip is canceled for any reason whatsoever, in whole or in part, including but not limited to
cancellations, postponements, an event of force majeure, or for any other reason, then the remaining components
of the Prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsors prize obligation to the prize winner and his/her guest/travel
companion, and no other or additional compensation will be awarded.
Winners must possess and are responsible for obtaining and must have valid ID or other required documentation
for travel, this includes having a valid passport that does not expire within six (6) months of the trip return date, or
prize will be forfeited.
Winners are responsible for obtaining any travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) that they may wish to
obtain at their own expense and hereby acknowledges that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide
travel insurance or any other form of insurance.
Prize does not include any other incidentals not mentioned in these Official Rules such as, but not limited to,
ground transportation, special seating assignments, baggage fees, alcoholic beverages, food, gratuities and tips,
insurance, laundry service, merchandise, parking, room service, service charges, souvenirs and telephone calls.
All other expenses not stated herein as part of the prize are the winners sole responsibility.
Sponsor is not responsible if tickets, travel vouchers, certificates or other similar items are lost, stolen, or
misplaced by Winner and will not be replaced or if booked transportations are missed, cancelled or delayed for any
reason.
Airline tickets issued in conjunction with the prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code share flights
may be used. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. The Winner may be
required to provide the hotel with a valid credit card for incidentals (such as room service, mini-bar and pay-perview television) and/or damages to the hotel room.
Ground transportation to/from winners home/departure airport and some transportation in destination city are NOT
included in the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.

Specifics of prize package are subject to availability and Sponsors sole discretion. Complete terms and conditions
of trip will be furnished with prize notification. Other restrictions may apply.
Winners must not have any medical, legal or any other reason that would prevent them from taking the prize.
Winners are bound by the terms and conditions of all airlines, hotels and other third party service providers used in
connection with the Prize.
Winners will not receive cash or any other form of compensation if actual travel costs are less than the estimate
made in these Official Rules.

No cash equivalents, transfers or substitution of a prize permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who
reserve the right to substitute the prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.
Winners are responsible for the payment of all taxes on a prize as well as any costs and expenses associated with
prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. In no event will more prizes be awarded than those
listed in these Official Rules. All prizes may not be awarded if not enough eligible Participants take part in the
Challenge. All prize details are at Sponsors sole discretion.
WINNER VERIFICATION:
Potential Winners will be required to execute and return an [1] an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and; where
legal, a Publicity Release (collectively the Affidavit); [2] an IRS Form W-9 and furnish his/her social security number
that will be used only for the purpose of reporting the Winners prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service, as
required by law; and [3] a Travel Release form within three (3) days following the date of issuance of notification or the
prize will be forfeited. Potential winners will be required to furnish his/her social security number that will be used only
for the purpose of reporting the Winners prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service, as required by law. If a
potential Winner (i) fails to timely return the required paperwork without alteration and in the form presented by
Sponsor; (ii) refuses the prize; and/or (iii) the prize or prize notification is rejected or returned as undeliverable, such
potential Winner forfeits all rights to be deemed a winner in the Challenge and receive the Prize, and that potential
prize winner will be disqualified and the prize will go unclaimed. Prize must be accepted as awarded. Except where
prohibited by law, the winners acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use said winners
name, photograph, likeness, statements, video and biographical information without further compensation.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
By participating, Participants agree to comply with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. Caution:
Any attempt by a Participant or any other individual to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of
this Challenge may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves
the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Sponsors failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
OWNERSHIP OF ENTRY & GRANT OF RIGHTS:
By participating in this Challenge, and to the extent allowed by law, Participants grant the Sponsor, and their respective
affiliates, licensees, promotional partners, developers, and third party marketing entities (collectively, Licensed
Parties) a non-exclusive, perpetual, sublicensable, royalty-free license to edit, modify, cut, rearrange, add to, delete
from, copy, reproduce, translate, dub, adapt, publish, broadcast, perform, exploit, use, and reuse (without limitation as
to when or to the number of times used) the Video Challenges of Participants made by the Producers and the content
of, and elements embodied in the video, including any names, locations, performances, and likenesses, in any and all
media, including but not limited to digital and electronic media, computer, audio, and audiovisual media (whether now
existing or hereafter devised), throughout the world, in perpetuity, and in any manner, advertising, promotional,
commercial, or any other purposes without further review, notice, approval, consideration, or compensation to
Participants or any third party. To the extent permitted by law, each Participant waives and releases the Licensed
Parties, from and agrees to not exercise against the Licensed Parties, any and all claims that each Participants may
now or hereafter have in any jurisdiction based on moral rights or droit moral or unfair contest with respect to the
Licensed Parties exploitation of video without further notification or compensation to Participants of any kind. Each
Participants unconditionally and irrevocably consents to any act or omission by the Licensed Parties that would
otherwise infringe his/her moral rights and present and future rights of a similar nature conferred by statute anywhere
in the world whether occurring before or after this consent is given, and agrees not, unless there has been any use of a
video or any derivative works thereof in a manner contrary to these Official Rules, to instigate, support, maintain, or
authorize any action, claim, or lawsuit against the Licensed Parties or any other person in connection with this
Challenge, on the grounds that any use of any video or any derivative works thereof, infringe or violate any rights of
any Participant and/or any participant therein. For the avoidance of doubt, the Participants agree to the publication of
their videos.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

By participating in the Challenge, Participants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and each of
their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries,
losses, damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the
Challenge or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse a prize (including any travel or travel-related activity
thereto) that may be awarded. This Challenge and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the
laws of the State of New York without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely
within the State of New York. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing,
typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Challenge, including, without limitation, errors
which may occur in connection with the administration of the Challenge, the processing of videos, the announcement
of the prizes or in any Challenge related materials; or for stolen, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, or illegible
participation or videos. If in the Sponsors opinion, for any reason this Challenge is not capable of running as planned,
or there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Challenge, or if unauthorized
intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity,
security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Challenge, the Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to
disqualify any individual (and void and/or prevent him/her from future participation) who tampers with the process
and/or who is acting in violation of these Official Rules, to modify or suspend the Challenge, or to terminate the
Challenge. As a condition of entering the Challenge, Participants agree that: a.) under no circumstances will
Participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and Participants hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental,
consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out
of or connected with this Challenge, or the prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of
class action; and c.) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred,
and in no event shall Participant be entitled to receive attorneys fees or other legal costs. Sponsor reserves the right
to modify prize award procedures at their discretion.
PRIVACY:
Information collected from Participants is used only for the purpose of awarding prizes, operating the Challenge
consistent with the Official Rules and to notify Winners, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by
Sponsor or any third parties unless Participant has opted-in to receive additional information and promotional material
from Sponsor or a third party. Once the Challenge, including any known or unknown extensions of the Challenge, has
ended, all information supplied by Participants will be removed from the database.
WHO WON:
To request the name of the winners, send an e-mail with subject line: Singapore Lyft Challenge to
winners@mkpromosource.com. Requests must be received no later than October 21, 2016. The names will be sent
when the drawing has been conducted and the winners verified.
