PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

BUSINESSWORLD (ABP GROUP) (Dec 2000 present)

The magazine is India's No. 1 selling business magazine. It is sold across 24 states
and has been in print for over three decades.
I joined the magazine as an illustrator, and was soon promoted to the position of
senior illustrator.
From there I climbed to the position of assistant art director.
At present, I am Junior Art Director.
I started off at the magazine by introducing a new style of illustration and caricature,
which I did successfully.
Over the years, I have regularly upgraded my skills to include

o Representation of complex economic, financial and corporate data
such as for Budget issues
Illustrations
Being my main area of expertise, I have often made illustrations for the

o Businessworld has printed many sector specific books over the years.
These have been very well received in the market. I have made the
cover as well as inside illustrations for many of these, for example, BW
Marketing Whitebook 2013, SME Whitebook 2013, Case Study Special,
and many others.
