1. Im not reading any books, because I have a lot of school material to read.
2. Anne of Green Gables has helped me to have a more positive outlook on life.
3. My favorite wise person is Steve Jobs, because he persevered through
obstacles such as getting fired.
4. I love all of the Tarantino movies, because they have taught me to think more
out of the box.
5. I would recommend Contact. The movie is about a human making contact
with aliens. The theme of religion and faith plays a huge part in the movie. It
also ties in with a twist at the end of the movie.
6. I have listened to the beatles a lot, because a lot of their music is so happy.
7. I loved English, because it was so open to interpretation and debate.
8. I hated history, because Ive never cared too much about the past.

5. Yes, Ive read Platos allegory of the cave.

6. I like how philosophy forces one to open his/her eyes to other prospects that he/she had
not known before. I dont like how more people dont know about it.
7. I expect to learn about many philosophers and debate multiple topics.
8. My strengths as a learner are reading and debating.
9. My weaknesses as a learner are not being able to read for over 2 hours without a break.
10. My reason for taking this course is my interest in the subject.
