Constitution of the Refugees of Houston

Preamble
This constitution is to organize and create a set of guidelines for the incoming one million
refugees. In this constitution, we are hoping to give the refugees (from Lebanon) a sense of
comfort in their religious and cultural practices. To do this we will limit the government's powers
with a set of rules to perfect the government of ours.

Article. I.
Section 1
1. The executive branch will outline the enforcement of laws by police forces and smaller
district patrols.
2. People of the refugee lands will elect higher powers in enforcement jobs such as
Sheriff and Constable Positions.
3. Checks and balances that will undergo review in the branch include the management of
the legislative branch in ways the laws can be enforced.
Section 2
1. The legislative branch will generally be ran under the refugees representatives and the
group will abide by the laws made by the camp as a whole.
2. The established group of the legislative branch is House of Representatives chosen by
the refugees whom will organize affairs of previously made laws.
Section 3
1. The judicial branch will be both subjected under the United States Supreme Court as
well as extend to the executive enforcers of the refugee compensated area.
2. Careful review of misdemeanor cases shall be controlled by executive officials of the
region and sent to higher state power while felony cases shall be instituted straight to the
powerful officials of the state then country.

Article. II.
Section 1

1. The people will choose representatives. Representatives need a religious background


in order to effectively, represent the people. Twenty-five representatives will represent
50,000 people.
2. Elections will take place every two years and representatives will be allowed run
twice in row. This is to allow any excellent representatives to remain in power for two
terms.
3. There will be meetings where representatives discuss about conflicts and topics in the
camp. They will be resolved during the meeting if possible and will be applied to the
camp as soon as possible.

Article. III.
Section 1
1. Ultimately, the voice of the people governs this government. This is for the order of
the refugee camp otherwise rebellion could possibly threaten the land. Thus, the
people must assume responsibility of what happens in the government, as it is the
fault of their own people.
2. This constitution should bring together the power of the people and united them as
one. The intention is not to bring the rise of one person but the power of people
instead.
3. Through this the creation of a Socialnate government shall exist and success for as
long as we remain in this land.
4. This will no longer be in effect as soon as a person steps out of the boundaries of
Lake Houston Wilderness Park.
