This research aims to know The Influence of Job Stress toward Employee
Performance of Marketing Department at PT Sarana Baja Perkasa. Job stress
variables tested using 5 indicators and employee performance using 5 indicators.
This research method is using quantitative research approach. The sampling
technique used is saturated sample with 24 number of respondents. Data
collection technique was obtained by distributing a questionnaire to respondents.
The results of the analysis of simple correlation test demonstrated that there are
appreciable correlation between stressful and employee performance. Then the
level of the relationship between job stress and employee performance is the
strong category. On the t test results show that the stress was significantly
influential work on employee performance. Then the results of the analysis of a
simple regression test indicates that the influence of work stress on performance
of employees is amounted to 38.4%, while the another amount of 61.6% is
influenced by other variables. Equation of regression analysis also shows that if
the work stress has increased, it will increase the performance of employees and
vice versa.
