Kurikulum 2013 adalah kurikulum baru yang menggantikan system kurikulum

lama (KTSP) sebagai acuan baru dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia.


Kurikulum 2013 telah diterapkan dari jenjang SD, SMP, SMA dengan mengambil
beberapa contoh sekolah sebagai pelopor.
Penggantian system pendidikan dari KTSP menjadi Kurikulum 2013 dimaksudkan
untuk mengubah sistem pendidikan di Indonesia menjadi lebih baik lagi. KTSP
yang telah berlangsung selama 6 tahun dianggap masih terdapat kekurangan,
seperti dalam sebuah pengembangan kompetensi yang disampaikan hanya
bergantung pada materi pelajaran sehingga siswa hanya dianggap sebagai robot
yang diharuskan mencapai target materi. Dalam kurikulum 2013, pemerintah
mengharapkan pengembangan kompetensi berdasarkan analisis daripada
kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu jumlah mata pelajaran dari KTSP dianggap terlalu
banyak bagi setiap jenjang, SD 10 mapel, SMP 12 mapel, gan dan SMA 17 mapel
dalam kurikulum 2013 mata pelajaran menjadi SD 8, SMP 10, SMA . Pengurangan
mata pelajaran dilakukan agar jam belajar siswa menjadi lebih maksimal.
Materi dalam kurikulum 2013 ada yang ditambah dan dikurangkan, seperti
PPKn, Bahasa Indonesia, IPS, dan lain-lain dikurangkan materinya. Dan materi
yang ditambahkan contohnya adalah matematika. Materi pembelajaran yang ada
terutama matematika, telah sesuai dengan standard internasional. Sehingga
pemerintah berharap agar sistem pendidikan di Indonesia dapat maju seperti
negara lain.
Penilaian dalam kurikulum 2013 ada 3 aspek yakni aspek keterampilan,
pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku. Aspek sikap dan perilaku (moral ) menjadi
penilaian utama dengan 60% dalam standar kelulusan.

Curriculum 2013 is the new curriculum system that replaces the old curriculum (SBC)
as a new benchmark in the education system in Indonesia. Curriculum 2013 has been
implemented from elementary, junior and senior high school by taking a few examples as
pioneer school since 2012.
Replacement of the education system from KTSP to curriculum 2013 is intended to
transform the education system in Indonesia to be better. KTSP that has been going on for 6
years are considered, there are still shortages, such as in a competence development delivered
only depend on the subject matter so that the student is only considered as a robot that is
required to achieve the target material. In the curriculum of 2013, the government expects the
development of competencies based on analysis rather than the needs of students. The other
shortage is number of subjects in KTSP was considered too much for all levels, 10 subjects
for Elemtary School, 12 subjects for Junior High School,and 17 subjects for Senior High
School. In the curriculum 2013,the goverment try to reduce that subjects become 8 subjects
for Elementary School, 10 subject for Junior High School,and 14 subjects for Senior High
School. Reduction of subjects will add more hours for student to study.
The materials in the curriculum in 2013 there were reduced , as PPKn, Indonesian,
Social. And material that was added, like mathematic. The material of subjects have been
calibrated with international standard . So the government hopes that the education system in
Indonesia can be developed like other countries.
There are three aspects to rate the student like skills, knowledge, attitudes and behavior.
Aspects of attitudes and behavior (moral) become the main value with 60% as the standard
graduation. By looking around in our life, we can find the fact that there are many student
who have bad attitudes and behavior like brawl and doesnt respect with other people like . I
think that 60% should be enough to change their attitude, because children mostly spend their
time in school. School can be the good place to build students attitude. So, curriculum 2013
is the great inovation in our education system.
