AIS MV SWITCHBOARDS GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The UniSwitch system is an Air Insulated metal enclosed compartmented

Switchgear. The system consitsts of a range of prefabricated standardized
panels which can either be delivered as completed switchgear or as single
panel. By using standardized components as circuitbreakers (SF6 of Vacuum),
SF6 switch disconnectors, earthing switchs and fuse bases the system covers
almost any configuration. The UniSwitch system is basically designed to be
used in public and industrial secondary distribution network.
The panel is built up of 2mm AlZn-coated steel plates which are bolted
together. All panels are designed with two overpressure reliefs at the rear
side, one for the cable compartment and one for switch/busbar compartment.
The system is designed to meet the requirement according to IEC Standard:
56, 129, 265, 298, 420, 529, 694, 932. It has been also tested by the:

All internal wiring are black and there are identified with numbered
ferrules at both ends.
Wiring for controls and signals are 1.5mm
Wiring for current circuits are 2.5mm
Documentation of as built drawings and equipment manuals will be
supplied for one copy.
Delivery time is 3 months after approval drawings have been approved by
the customer.

GENERAL REMARKS
Every single cubicle shall be tested in the ABB workshop according to
the normal tests for acceptance consisting of:
