Dear Jonathan Thomas Morris,
To operate in a more sustainable manner, and be a responsible steward of dues dollars, ALA now provides a printable
membership card, receipt of dues payment, and an ALA membership certificate. Members will no longer receive a
printed membership card via the mail. This change is a positive step in operating more effectively and creatively to
better serve our members.
A membership card is never required to access or use any ALA programs, events, conferences or other
ALA service. These materials serve to verify your current membership in ALA and any Divisions and/or any Round
Tables that you have joined. They provide a convenient place to access your member number and other details
regarding your current membership.
If you have questions contact ALA Member and Customer Service, 800-545-2433, option 5 or go to
www.ALA.org/membership.
Thank you for your membership in and support of ALA.
Sincerely,

Ron Jankowski
