present. Until August 2015, she held the position of Director for
Corporate Governance and Regulatory Affairs in KPMG Asia
Pacific Limited. Her notable experience as a CPA is being the
General Accountant of the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC) for seven (7) years from year 2007 to 2014. As the General
Accountant of the SEC, she led the adoption of the Philippine
Financial Reporting Standards and Philippine Standards on

Atty. Salvador began his career in taxation in 1993 with one of the
oldest auditing firms after graduating from law school and passing
the bar exams on the same year. A true blue blood having studied
in the Ateneo from grade school, high school, college and up to
law school, he began his career with KPMG in 1999 when the Firm
was still growing and has contributed to what the R.G. Manabat &
Co. is today. Now a tax principal, he has, for the past four years,
acted as the Firms Tax Risk Management Partner which allowed
him not only to understand risk issues relevant to the local tax
practice but also to provide insight on tax issues from a global
perspective, having been exposed to other tax practices in the Asia
Pacific Region.

Mr. Guarin is a Partner with the Advisory Services Group of R.G.

Manabat & Co. (RGM & Co.). He heads both the Deal Advisory
Group (which handles M&A and Corporate Finance services to
RGM&Co. clients) and the Business Development Unit 1 (which
deals with Infrastructure, Government, Technology, Media and
Consumer Markets clients of the Firm). He has over sixteen (16)
years of experience in advising multinational and domestic
companies with their M&A and investment transactions in the
Philippines. Recently, he has advised Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese
and Singaporean companies with their various investments in the
infrastructure, financial services and electric power sectors. He is an
accredited valuations professional of KPMG Global and the Philippine
Stock Exchange. Mr. Guarin is a member of the Financial Executives
Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) and the Rotary Club of Manila.
He has been an active participant in market making activities of the
US Embassys Commercial Attach Group and was a panelist in the
Asian Venture Capital Journals Philippine business forum. Mr.
Guarin is a Business Administration and Accountancy graduate, Cum

Mr. Bonoan is the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of R.G.
Manabat & Co., the Philippine member firm of KPMG International. He is a
former Undersecretary of the Philippine Department of Finance and
exercised oversight functions over the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the
customs authority. He was responsible for leading the teams that wrote
and pushed the passage of key revenue reform legislation, among which
is the VAT Reform Law of 2005 (RA 9337). He successfully argued the
constitutionality of the law before the Philippine Supreme Court.

Mr. Garcia is a Principal with the Deal Advisory Services Group of R.G.
Manabat & Co. (RGM & Co.), which handles M&A and Corporate Finance
services to RGM&Co. clients. He has over seventeen (17) years of
experience in the areas of investment banking, corporate finance, and
financial advisory, having been previously connected with several
investment banks/financial institutions such as Amalgamated Investment
Bancorporation, Dharmala Capital Investment & Trust Company and UBP
Capital Corporation. Mr. Garcia has led several engagements involving
valuation, financial due diligence, commercial due diligence, model review,
structuring and preparation of financial projections in various sectors.
Recently, he led engagements in the consumer markets sector, involving

Operating Officer of TechnoMarine Enterprises Philippines, Inc. and Techno
Time Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), a wholesaler and retailer of watches and jewelry.
Mr. Garcia is a Management Economics graduate from Ateneo de Manila
University.

Noel advises large multinational companies and trade organizations on tax

strategies and represents clients before the revenue agencies, especially
on high-level issues. He has also worked with industry associations such
as the Bankers Association of the Philippines and the Philippine
Association of Multinational and Regional Operating Headquarters to
ensure that revenue regulations impact them in a constructive way. His
clients include, among others, two large financial institutions, one large
independent power producer, three large petroleum companies, and
several multinationals in the food and beverage industry. He also advises
on trade and customs matters.
It is also noteworthy that KPMG in the Philippines has been consistently

Ms. Hernandez is currently a Director with the Deal Advisory Services

Group of R.G. Manabat & Co. She will be officially admitted as a Principal
with the same group on 1 October 2016. She handles M&A and Corporate
Finance services to RGM&Co. clients. She has over eighteen (18) years of
combined experience in the areas of corporate finance, business advisory,
and strategy and corporate planning, mainly focusing on the Energy and
Infrastructure sectors. Ms. Hernandez has led several engagements
involving valuation, financial due diligence, commercial due diligence,
model build and review involving large transactions in the Philippines.
Most recently she has led engagements in the Energy and Infrastructure
sector including due diligence and valuation engagements for large
conglomerates, Oil & Gas companies, and Power companies.

Prior to joining KPMG Philippines, Cynthia was the Assistant Vice

Management Corp.) and PNOC-Petrochemical Development Corp. Ms.
Hernandez is Metallurgical Engineering graduate from the University of

Business Services. He was the EY ASEAN sub-area people leader and the
EY FEA leader for people infrastructure and shared services.
Hon. Sanvictores is a certified public accountant and has more than three
decades worth of combined experience in human resources management,
audit, financial assurance, tax compliance, corporate finance advisory and
investment project packaging and development.
He is active in the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, has
served in various leadership capacities and was conferred a number of
awards, including the Honorary Life Membership in the Institute in 2009.
