Main Objectives of API 682

All seals are able to operate continuously for 25,000hrs without replacements.

Containment seal (CS) able to operate continuously for 25,000hrs without


replacement at any containment seal chamber pressure not exceeding 0.7barg.
Containment seal (CS) able to operate 8hrs minimum at full seal chamber
condition.
All seals are able to comply to either local emission regulations or maximum
leakage volume of 1000ppm (ml/m3)
