The higher education institutions intending to offer a
degree, diploma certificate to foreign students under
the twinning programs shall have at least level II
accreditation. Likewise, foreign universities and
colleges intending to offer should possess the highest
level of recognition from their respective government
duly authenticated by respective embassies and
consulates

Operational Guidelines for the Implementation of
the ASEAN International Mobility for Students
(AIMS) Program
HEIs

shall indorse their nominees to the IAS cc: OSDS


and CHEDRO, together with the required documents
three(3) months before the scheduled schooling in
the host University.

linkages , provision of support to international and
intercultural activities , implementation of bilateral
and multilateral agreements on academic
cooperation, and promotion of Philippine higher
education abroad for international recognition.

2. Distance Education teacher and learner are
geographically separated and instruction delivered
through specially designed materials and methods
3. Consortium Program Delivering HEIs with
expertise in the identified priority disciplines

4. Offshore Program educational services in which


learners are located outside/other than the
institution that will award the degree. Customized
offshore programs particularly for regions that do
not have DHEIs or are far from the identified DHEIs
for their needed disciplines will be developed and
implemented. Under this mode selected faculty
experts may be brought in to the regions from
outside.

Filipino Citizen and not more than 47 yrs old


(masters degree) and not more than 45 years old
(for the Ph.D. program )
Full time with at least 12 units teaching load in
private or public HEI in the country
Currently teaching any of the identified priority
fields
Have no masters degree/doctorate degree in the
priority field applied for

Have good academic record


Be in good health and good moral character
have no pending criminal/administrative charges
or must not have been convicted for violation of
any Philippine law( certification must be obtained
from appropriate agencies)
Have no other scholarship at the time of the
application . Application for joint scholarship may
be considered provided there is no duplication of
privileges and benefits.
