Use Sentences with Different Beginnings.

1.

Using an adverb or two (words ending with ly which describe a verb)

(a) Using one adverbExample: I pushed him aside and entered the room. I
was angry.
Angrily, I pushed him aside and entered the room.
(b) Using two adverbs
Example: I pushed him aside in a rough manner and entered the room. I
was angry.
Angrily and roughly, I pushed him aside and entered the room.

2. Using verb-part openers

Example: He was terrified by the darkness. He started running as fast as
he could.
Terrified by the darkness, he started running as fast as he could.
3. Using the .ing opener (Gerund)
Example: She laughed with joy. She ran towards her mother and hugged
her.
Laughing with joy, she ran towards her mother and hugged her.
4. Using infinitives as openers
An infinitives is made up of word to and the present tense of the verb.
Examples of infinitives are to hope, to sing, to laugh'.
Examples : To hope for snow in Malaysia is almost a miracle.
To sing in the bathroom is my brothers hobby.
To laugh at misfortunes is an inconsiderate act.
5. Using a phrase with a preposition.
Example: For more than a year,
