LINKS BOOMERANG

Five-layer birch plywood is commonly used in making boomerangs

because it works perfectly. You can also use solid wood but it may be
more difficult and not as strong. I dont think I need to say this but
remember that throwing a boomerang can be dangerous. Be safe and
only throw in open grass areas clear of people or property.

Style:

How to Throw: Starting with the wind at your face,

turn approx 45 from the wind. Right handed, turn
to the right with the wind on your left cheek.
Lefties (like me) need to turn to the left.
You dont need to throw it high in the air.
I usually aim at the tops of far away
trees. You also dont need to throw
very hard. Catch your boomerang with a sideways clap.
Only catch it when it is in
a hovering decent and
not a steep dive!
