Netizens should exercise caution when posting on social media

General purpose : To persuade the audience to be cautious when they

wanted to posted things on social media sites such as Facebook, Myspace,
Instagram and others. There are many types of social network that are
very popular today, five of them are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr,
and Tumblr. Although the number of social network user rises every day,
the number of people who know the best way to use it is not
perpendicular to the number of the social network user that growth
everyday. So we expect netizens should exercise caution when posting on
social networking sites.
Specific purpose : i) To increase the awareness of the internet users
(netizens) about the dangerous of social media sites that gives harm to
netizens when they tend to lose job and this will affect their future as well
ii) To open the eyes of the public about the illusion of
safety where their personal information can be stolen and they will loss of
privacy
iii) To show to the netizens how dangerous social media
sites is if they are not exercise caution that can leads to crime such as
pedophiles and others.

Central idea : It can leads to invasion of privacy

Supporting detail : 1) Invasion of privacy is when you loss of your own
privacy and this can leads to to a very dangerous situation when someone
gain your personal information from your social media account (address,
phone number, email)
2) Most of social media sites require us to fill in our
information. Avoid put your nric number, birth date because it is easy for
other people to guess. Hacker will hack into someone account to gain our
personal information and make something from it.
3) New application which are very popular right now,
called swarmapp where this apps let other people to know the exact
location of you on that time, and it will becomes dangerous especially to a
girl since there is a case reported involving a girl who being sexually
assaulted by 26 year old man after she decided to met him after chatting
online through sites called myspace.

platforms for candidate selection. The prospective employer will be doing
a sort of amateur background check on their candidates as they started to
realise how much of an impact social media recruiting has on
theiremployer brand

use of social media. Basically, there is no longer a simple paper
application or personal interview. Instead, a search of what you have said
and posted online will be taken into consideration.

potential employees that are making references to marijuana use (65 per
cent), using pictures of alcohol consumption (46 per cent) or writing with
spelling or grammar errors (24 per cent)

posted it in social media sites. Anyone with internet access can find your
childs profile and instant messenger information with a few clicks.
Predators don't bother with going into internet chat rooms when they can
stroll through a social networking site and look for pretty faces. On a
single page, they can find a teenagers photo, contact information, and
lots of other information.
2) Police officers that work with Safe Kids Upstate tell us
that when a predator starts grooming a child, he looks for vulnerability.
With easy access to a diary or blog, a predator doesnt have to do much
work to get past the first layer of vulnerability

headline pedophilia is a disorder, not a crime. Its says that pedophiles
come from all walks of life and from all socioeconomic groups. It usually is
those that hide behind the cloak of normality and respectability within our
community.
