Islam is crystal clear on killing of innocent beings. There are no grey areas.
He who kills a soul unless it be (in legal punishment) for murder or for
causing disorder and corruption on the earth will be as if he had killed all
humankind; and he who saves a life will be as if he had saved the lives of all
humankind. - Quran 5:32 !
Every religion has black sheep in it. Would you blame Christians for Adolf Hitler and Ku
Klux Klan ? In his speech Adol Hitler said that he is doing Christianity a great service by
pushing [Jews] out of schools and public functions. But was he?
Would you blame Hindus for Babri Masjid or Gujarat Riots or Malegaon blasts? Would you
blame Buddhists for what some of them recently did in Burma? Would you blame Sikhs for
killing Indra Gandhi ? I hope not. .
Brother you need to understand that if you want to judge Islam then you need to look at
Quran not bunch of low life so called Muslims.
Do we glorify so called Islamic organizations such as Al Qaeda and ISIS/ISIL? NO. We
don't. Most of the Muslims that you will find who support ISIS are young (18-22) year old
over zealous, guys who are not well educated about Islam. In fact these organizations
comprises mostly of such teenagers or young men. You wont find any sensible man who
knows Islam promoting any terrorist organisation.

It's very unfortunate that Islam is victimized because of these lunatics. I have realized
though that most well-intentioned educated people know the difference between a violent
lunatic and a decent human being isn't religion (or lack thereof). However, I do understand
this is hard to grasp for someone who has never personally interacted with a Muslim or
heard about the religion at all except in news stories of terror. Unbiased, meticulous
opinion-forming is a very hard thing to do in practice, and I'm sure we are all guilty of it in
some degree.

Briefly speaking, that is related to some major causes, among:

The endeavor of Islam's Enemies in order to defame Islam by hiring (by money) or
deceiving (by brain wash) some or many not-real-Muslims or actually psychologistindividuals to doing such terrorist activities by the name of Islam.

Al-Queda & Taliban type groups. Most of the Muslims don't like those groups.
But those groups are spreading terrorism in the name of Islam.
When a Muslim makes fault, media/peoples say it's a Muslim terrorist or a
Muslim bad guy. But when another man (not Muslim) makes fault they are
saying he is a bad guy.
Many Muslims have been misled by others. They don't know their religion
perfectly. They just follow some bunch of idiots & kill peoples & say God is great.
& peoples are saying Muslim is bad.
Sometimes many Muslims have no broad sense about the world. They have no
upper view like their ancestors. We know there are many Muslims who
contributed to civilized the world. But today there are so many ignorant
Muslims.

Terrorism has nothing to do with Islam (see my other answers below.) There are political
agendas (see the media answer below.) At the end of the day, Muslims need to fulfill the
obligation of lovingly sharing the blessings of the teachings Islam with people. When we
stray from high moral standards, there are consequences. May Allah forgive us.

I am not an apologist or a believer of Enlightened Moderation in Islam. Islam is Islam for

me and Muslims are either Muslims or otherwise, based on their personal choices, no
issues!

According to a study it's found that 80%of media news about islam and muslims are
negative.medias do not report things that are awesome in Islam,i don't blame you. Medias
are looking at the terror attacks and competes one another to immedially report the
terrorism as related to Islam. They don't look at the bright side.

Islam, a religion of mercy, does not permit terrorism. In the Quran, God has said:
God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those
who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your
homes. God loves just dealers.
(Quran, 60:8)
The Prophet Muhammad
used to prohibit soldiers from killing women and children,1 and he would advise them:
{...Do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child.}2 And he also
said: {Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not
smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of
forty years.}3
Also, the Prophet Muhammad
has forbidden punishment with fire.4
He once listed murder as the second of the major sins,5and he even warned that on the Day
of Judgment, {The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of
Judgment will be those of bloodshed.6}7
Muslims are even encouraged to be kind to animals and are forbidden to hurt them. Once
the Prophet Muhammad
said: {A woman was punished because she imprisoned a cat until it died. On
account of this, she was doomed to Hell. While she imprisoned it, she did not
give the cat food or drink, nor did she free it to eat the insects of the earth.}8
He also said that a man gave a very thirsty dog a drink, so God forgave his sins for this
action. The Prophet
was asked, Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals? He said:
{There is a reward for kindness to every living animal or human.}9
Additionally, while taking the life of an animal for food, Muslims are commanded to do so in
a manner that causes the least amount of fright and suffering possible. The Prophet
Muhammad

said: {When you slaughter an animal, do so in the best way. One should
sharpen his knife to reduce the suffering of the animal.}10
In light of these and other Islamic texts, the act of inciting terror in the hearts of defenseless
civilians, the wholesale destruction of buildings and properties, the bombing and maiming
of innocent men, women, and children are all forbidden and detestable acts according to
Islam and the Muslims. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the
vast majority have nothing to do with the violent events some have associated with
Muslims. If an individual Muslim were to commit an act of terrorism, this person would be
guilty of violating the laws of Islam.

This statement has nothing to do with the divinity of Jesus, if we refer to John 14:7,
if you had known me you would have known my father also. In the context of this
statement, we can understand what Jesus meant when he said that he was the way,
the truth, and the light. Whoever knows, obeys, and follows me knows and obeys
God because it is He who sent me. This statement attributed to Jesus applies
to every Prophet and messenger because the Prophet is not following his
own whim or ideas, he is following the revelation of God

He is the way to God. Every Prophet during his time was the way
to God. At the time of Moses (pbuh) he was the way to God. The
Children of Israel chose another way through golden calf, it wasnt
accepted from them. At the time of Noah (pbuh) he was the way
to God. If you had to get saves, just get into the ark, thats all ! At
the time of Jesus (pbuh) he was the way to God. But today, its

the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), he is the way to Almighty

God.
Here Jesus (pbuh) is saying that if you know me, you know God
i.e. if you follow me, you are indirectly following Almighty God.
Seeing God here means knowing God as we can see from the
verse.

Moses didn't survive long enough to get to Canaan according to the bible. But he
did indeed started his career by killing an Egyptian, supervised the plagues
including murder of the firstborns, and murdered thousands of his own people after
the golden calf debacle, they conquered, they enslaved thousands
