PURPOSE:
Portfolio Management:

Support the Director - Liquidity Portfolio & Business Management in the development of strategies and
tactics for the Head Office securities portfolio which satisfies both internal and regulatory requirements

Contact with market makers globally to gather market intelligence and execute derivative contracts and cash
instruments

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.

Contribute to the development and execution of the Head Office Liquidity Portfolio strategy

2.

Manage the strategic relationships with the global dealing community and other market participants to gather
market intelligence to identify opportunities to more effectively manage the Banks market risk and liquid
bond exposures

3.

Assist in the execution of market strategies and tactics to execute the ALCO approved structural interest rate
risk target profile

COMPETENCIES:

Individual should have 3 years minimum experience in capital markets or treasury roles, with particular focus
on fixed income markets

The individual should have an expert understanding interest rate risk and market strategy

The individual should have an expert understanding of macro-economics

EDUCATION:

Undergraduate degree in business, finance or engineering preferred

A Masters in business, finance or CFA designation would be preferred
