CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
This study implies and determine the importance and rights of Overseas Filipino
Workers. In this study, the researchers will identify on which Lending Companies do the OFWs
deserve and which is more reliable to use. This study will determine the rights, importance, and
the right treatment for the workers. This study will also help us to identify and understand the
advantages and disadvantages of the Lending Companies being compared. The researchers will
able to see which one can we endorse and which one deserves the best lending company for a
recommendation. This study simply states that OFWs has their own rights to choose on which
Lending Company is reliable for them to loan. OFWs are the person of Filipino origin who lives
outside of the Philippines. This term applies to Filipinos who are abroad indefinitely as citizens
or as permanent residents of a different country and to those Filipino citizens abroad for a
limited, definite period, such as on a work contract or as students. Most of them are domestic
helper, construction worker, seaman, medical worker, engineer, factory worker and entertainer.
Precisely, they are the one who sacrifice their time and happiness with their families to work in
foreign countries. Instead of spending their time for their loved ones theyre still working for
them just to live the life they need. But thats not the only problem they are facing. Financial
problem, is one of the problem that OFWs are commonly facing. One of the reasons they wanted
to work abroad is that other countries offers higher amount of money, but some of them still
experience financial problems despite years of hard work due to inefficient money management
but, there are lending companies that are willing to help the OFWs.

The researchers used a summary questionnaire to gather responses from the different

Based on my experience one of the problems that OFWs are commonly facing is the
lack of money to send to their families in the Philippines.

We, as a researcher, based on our study, we have concluded that Vidalia Lending
Corporation has better service and benefits for OFWs. Based on our research, Vidalia Lending
Corporation offers an easy way or more effective way to loan that will really help the OFWs. We
highly recommend this lending company, cause as a consultant we know the benefits that this
lending company can give for the OFWs.
CONCLUSION
We have a lot of lending companies in the Philippines that are willing to help OFWs.
Such as PAGASA Lending Company, 123 Lending Company, and Vidalia Lending Company.
For OFWs, to start loaning to fulfill their financial needs. Loaning is the best way to prevent
their financial needs because in case of emergency they dont need to use their personal savings
instead they can use their loan. One of the advantages of getting a loan with lending companies
are the application for a quick and easy cash loan. Most OFWs need to acquire money fast and
easy to be able to go directly abroad and supplement their financial instability. Lending
companies provides an immediate loaning facility where an application is practically approved
and be given just within the day or night. Lending companies cash loans for your placement fees
to help you work abroad is relatively speedy to obtain. Secondly, applying for a lending loan is
just very simple and straightforward. Thirdly, Lending companies are excellent in its customer

passed the requirements needed. They must be 18 to 59 years old. Filipino citizens, have source
