Extract from JD for IT Business Partner

Works with business partner to elicit high-level requirements and capture


business needs

Define business requirements

Perform Quality Assurance

Define reporting and alerting requirements

Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize
and enhance the integration

Help design, document and maintain system processes which include but
not limited to BRDs, RFPs.

Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and perform


Root Cause Analysis in liaison with the IT team

Communicate key insights and findings to Business team


Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover
issues and deliver better value to the Business team
Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walkthroughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies
solution interdependencies
