2016. Please make a note that SCHOOL WILL END AT 1:00 PM MONDAY THURSDAY. If your child does not ride the school bus and does not have a conference

Report CardsReport Cards will be sent home on Tuesday October 25, 2016 for your review prior to
Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any

The Book Fair is coming! It's always fun to find a good book to read and our
Book Fair will be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences from 1:00 pm 4:00 pm on Mon-Thu and 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm on Friday Nov 4. Book Fair
information flyers will be sent home in the Tuesday Envelope on October 25.

We are looking for a parent who would like to take on the role of our school's PCNC.
The Parent-Community Networking Centers (PCNCs) serve to create supportive partnerships among the home, the school,
and the community for the purposes of supporting student success, and building a sense of family and community. The
PCNCs are school-based centers for families, volunteers and community to identify their strengths, collaborate, make
decisions and create partnerships.
This is a position that is hired through the school. The applicant must posses experience with Technology, Verbal and
Social skills. If you are interested please call the school at 328-2727 for more information. Mahalo!

Fire Fighter's Safety Guide Handout


Each student was given a Fire Fighter's Safety Guide Handout. Please go over the handout with your child and complete the activities in the
booklet and return the acknowledgment page. We will have incentive prizes for 1 child in each grade level that correctly answers random
questions. The prizes will be a coupon to use at the Book Fair during Parent-Teacher Conference at the end of the month and a Smoke
Alarm for the home.
Student Council Reminder:
For those students who are interested in running for Student Council, Speeches will be on Friday, October 21. 2016.
The Rotary Club will be performing Vision Screening on October 19 from 10:00 - 11:00 for Grade 3 students. If you have a child
that is not in the 3rd Grade but have a concern regarding your child's vision please contact the school before Wednesday, Oct 19.

Picture Retakes is scheduled for October 25 at 8:30 am in the Library. Pictures are being sent home in today's Tuesday Envelope.

TRIPOD Student Survey


In November, students in grades 3-5 will be asked to complete the Tripod Student Perception Survey. This is a confidential survey that
serves as one of the several mesures used for the evaluation of teachers. Please review the Declination letter and respond
appropriately.

Got Uniforms ?
School uniforms were effective on Monday, october 17, 2016. school uniforms are mandatory from
monday - thursday. Mahalo for your assistance.
