The information in this appendix covers the following.

(a) Technical data: dimensions, weights, charging current, capacitance, a.c. resistance
and reactance (tables A17.2-A17.3). Conductor sizes are generally available for the
range 1000mm 2 to 3000mm 2. Technical data is given for selected sizes.
(b) Power ratings: for single-core cables, laid direct and in air (figs A17.1-A17.4).
(c) Conditions applicable: table A17.1.
