Yogini Dasha as applied by K.N. Rao

I just wondered if anyone has explored the way K.N Rao applies the Yogini Dasha.
The book by his student is kind of complicated for explaining how it gets shift
ed based on progressed Lagna for the 2nd and 3rd cycle of 36 years. I didn't kno
w if anyone could explain it more clearly or describe any way to get Jagannath H
ora (the free software) to do it. I have seen that most softwares just recycle t
he same sequence in the next cycles of the dasha which is apparently incorrect u
nless I'm misunderstanding and the interpretation is based on a shifted chart bu
t with the same dasha lords

lt area of Gharwal and has been passed on via the generation route

----------------I've applied Yogini dasha using his methods and got very good results. Actually
whenever different dasha systems (Vimshottari & Char dasha) gives mutually confu
sing results, I apply Yogini dasha (by VP Goel method) and almost always got gud
results.
This is based on the concept that Life does not repeat itself after 36 years, in
fact the common sense will tell that the results will come in entirely differen
t domain of life. So he gave the concept of progressed lagna. So apply Yogini da
sha (calculated by any software) by changing the lagna (How the lagna will chang
e is given in his book). In every dasha there will a nakshatra lord which will b
e activated & must participate in giving results. So its the Mha adasha lord & n
ak lord which determine what sort of results will come in this dasha.

You were born in the Yogini dasha of Moon and ur Janam nak is Shrawna.
So Yogini dasha was Mangla (Moon) and nak lord activated was Moon, Progressed la
gna at thta time was Capricorn (Moon sign). 36 yrs completed in 2000 and at pres
ent ur Yogini dasha is Bhadrika (Mer), nak lord activated is Ketu & progressed l
agna is Leo (for all 5 yrs).
Since Leo is natal 5H so u may get results related to kids now.
From Leo, Ketu is posited in 5H which again indicates the results related to kid
s.
From Leo, Mer is 2L/11L posited in 4H so this time u may get results related to
property, vehicles etc. There may be gains from them. However the antar dashas a
re not very conducive. Moon is activating 6/12 houses while next PD is of debi S
un which may give travels as well as conflict with friends or neighbours.

Muntha (astrology)

In Hindu astrology, Varshaphala (annual horoscopes) or the Progressed Horoscopes
are cast according to the Tajika System propounded by Kesava and Neelakantha, w
hich enables the astrologer to forecast events of immediate importance. The Lagn
a or ascendant of an annual horoscope is cast for the moment the Sun, after maki
ng a full round of twelve rasis or zodiacal signs, returns to the same position
it occupied at the time of one s birth. Muntha, which is an imaginary mathematical
point, has an important role in this method of prognostication.
Muntha is the progressed ascendant that travels one Rasi or Sign per year beginn
ing from the birth-ascendant at birth. It is found by adding the number (number
denoting the particular sign) of the ascendant at the time of birth to the numbe
r of the years elapsed between birth and the year for which Progressed Annual Ho
roscope is cast, dividing the sum by 12 and rejecting the quotient. It is connec
ted with the birth-chart. In a continuous cycle after 12 years it would come to
occupy the same sign as the ascendant.
Muntha, whose degree would be the same as the birth-ascendant, gives very good r
esults by occupying the 9th, the 10th or the 11th house counted from the annualascendant, favourable results by occupying the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd or the 5th
but only bad results when it is in the 4th, the 6th, the 7th, the 8th or the 12t
h house. Muntha aspected or joined by malefic planets, particularly Ketu, produc
es bad results. The Muntha-lord, the lord of the sign occupied by Muntha, occupy
ing the 4th, the 6th, the 7th, the 8th or the 12th gives bad results.[1][2]
Malefic planets in an unfavourable aspect with Muntha give ill-health, if occupy
ing an unfavourable house the ascribed bad results become intensified. But the g
ood indications of the house occupied by Muntha when its dispositor is in Ithsal
a yoga become more pronounced. The results for Muntha variously occupying the 12
houses and/or aspected or joined by anyone of the nine planets are described by
the standard astrological texts dealing Tajika system. However, its connection
with Rahu is exceptional. If Muntha is in the face of Rahu, there will be access
to wealth, fame etc; but if it is in the hind part of Rahu, there will be fear
from enemies and difficulties all-round; if the same Rahu is in the lagna, then
there will be financial troubles and loss of wealth. Muntha associating with eit
her Jupiter or Venus or both confers promotion and inflow of wealth. Death or a
very critical period in life is indicated if the Muntha-lord is associated with
or aspected by the afflicted lord of the 8th or if the sign rising in the birthascendant falls on the 8th house devoid of benefic influences but if the Munthalord, unafflicted, occupies the sign held by Muntha auspicious results happen bo
th at the beginning and at the close of the year concerned.[3]
