Ref: O02NVSG/EXPLIGOKPL201 1 Exhibit 8 ~ Personnel Requlfement Woltste Geologist Services 1.0 20 3.0 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENT General This service covers the provision of four (4) National Wellsite Geologists to provide on-site geological support during drilling for three (3) firm and two (2) optional exploration wells in West Papua using land drilling rig. This work is to be carried out in a safe, efficient, professional and workmanlike manner, with due diligence and care in line with accepted practice within the oil and gas industry and to meet all the requirements of COMPANY and BPMIGAS. To perform the Services as described in Exhibit-A, CONTRACTOR shall provide COMPANY with person(s) having the following qualifications and able to perform the following duties: Personal Qualification The CONTRACTOR's personnel who are assigned to perform the Services shall have the following qualifications: 2.1 Wellsite Geologist Bachelor degree in Geology from recognized university. ‘Minimum of 10 years experience as Wellsite Geologist in major & active E&P companies with proven excellent track record. Qualitative log interpretation skils. ‘Must have at least two (2) candidates who have recent experience in onshore drilling Miocene- Kais to Permian-Ainim section the Bintuni Basin in West Papua. © Must be familiar with picking 17-1/2" x 13-2/8" and 12-1/4" x 9-5/8" hole section TD in the recently developed field in Bintuni Basin using available data set. * Must have familiarity with High Overbalances, Differential Sticking and Mud Losses during driting Experience in drilling through total lost circulation and over pressured zone. Active user of Geologix software for well composite. Active user of R-Web software for daily and final geological well reporting. Positive attitude to complete the Wellsite assignment as per contract. Conduct of HSE training for Basic Safety Training, HUET, Fire Fighting, First AID and H2S training. Primary Duties The primary duties of CONTRACTOR's personnel will relate to this project and will include but not be limited to the following: © To work with the Exploration G&G and Driling Department to support driling of up to 1 exploration well in Kasuri PSC, West Papua, during and post drilling campaign as per COMPANY’s request ‘+ To fully describe and evaluate ditch cuttings and drilling mud under ultra-violet light at reguler intervals for oll fluorescence observation, to evaluate gas shows from the mud and cuttings, to describe hydrocarbon shows (if present) with the lithology. The final product would be a composite log that captures all formation behavior information vs depth. @ To provide recommendation of depth for sidewall core, formation pressure measurement and/or fluid sampling (after consuiting with Operations Geologist, Petrophysicist and Reservoir Engineer), © To QC reabtime data acquired from different vendors (Mudlogging, LWD and Wireline). To generate and update well fo well correlation using GEOLOGIX software. Provide input to drilling superintendent on the rig for subsurface issues related to well (Le lithology, hydrocarbon shows, casing point, key markers, geohazards, anticipated formation, unexpected ant drilling breaks, and logging program (including: request for strapping out ofthe Role prior to logging, ete). To proactively contribute ideas in the morning meeting on the rig site To ensure safe and quick transmittal of hard data from the rig site to Jakarta office and also to ensure that the digital well data be stored appropriately in COMPANY's designated shared folder. To provide routine update and advice on well data information to Operations Geologist. During his tour on the rig, personne! must generate daily geological reports. Upon completion of the well, personnel is also required to prepare a comprehensive final geological report as. per COMPANY's requirement. + To perform quick look petrophysical evalution (ie: calculating porosity, water saturation) and to qualitatively analyze hydrocarbon type in the reservoir zones. To fully comply with Genting Oil & Gas general HSE requirement including maintaining safety awareness in detection of hydrocarbons or other dangerous gases (eg, H2S, C02 and CO). * Upon well TD, CONTRACTOR'S personnel are required to meet GOKPL's Operations Geologist to review in detail the Geological related reports (Le: well composite log, mud logging quality control form, LWD and the wire-line log quality). Special attention will be given to any unusual operations that have occurred during drilling operations and their effect on the subsurface data acquisition program or general program (Le: anomalous wire-line log response, sidewall core recoveries, problems with mud logging equipment, personnel problems, and transmittal of data, cuttings and fluid samples.
