Vanhamki Activity Centre
Vanhamki is an activity centre in Suonenjoki, which is a small rural town of
some 7 500 inhabitants situated in the central Finland. Vanhamki provides different
activities for visitors and it also runs organic farm, horse stables and a foster home.
The centre produces organic berries and vegetables and the products are also sold in
the little shop.
Volunteering tasks vary according to the season: in the summer time the
volunteers work more in Vanhamki and in the autumn and spring there is more
cooperation with other local organizations, such as local folk academy, association of
unemployed people and a school.
At Vanhamki the volunteers assist in different kinds of tasks outdoors and
indoors. They take part in organic farming and maintenance work of the park area.
They also assist in planning and carrying out events in Vanhamki according to their
skills and interests. The volunteers can also carry out tasks in the office and kitchen as
well as at the stables.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
It is important that the volunteer enjoys both practical and social work tasks. It
is good to have an interest in organic farming and nature.

Messzelt Association was founded in 1999. Our goal is to realize a diverse,

The main focus of Messzelt is 'sustainable city life' in which we aim to bring back
sustainable methods to modern city peoples' lives. On our practical workshops, we
teach how to prepare our own soaps, cosmetics, bread, cheese, pasta, etc. We use
environment-friendly materials. We also teach about up-cycling garbage. We run
national campaigns, promoting eating seasonal, local and healthy food. We are
interested in urban gardening as well; we are part of a community garden, we teach
balcony gardening and worm composting. We work with a wide range of groups in
our workshops from elementary students to elderly adult learners.
We have 3 staff members, 40 active supporting members and more than 300
registered volunteers and we host two long-ter volunteers every year. We are a
community which learns, thinks and acts together.

Location: Krsko Slovenia
Youth in Media
The Youth in Media project is good for both beginners and professionals in the
field of media production.
You will have an opportunity to produce several videos per month of different
genres, connected with local youth and actual socio-cultural processes. All the
monthly productions results in Youth TV Magazine and is presented in public
screenings and film festivals.
If you are interested in media education, you could improve your practical
skills while co-mentoring in series of workshops and trainings for local youngsters.
DZMP office is well-equipped with computers, as well as all needed for fieldwork and
shooting process. Here you can learn the basics of directing, camerawork, lighting and
post-production. You will get the chance to take part in the organization of DZMP's
Luksuz film Festival. Volunteers are provided with the accommodation in private
rooms, money for food & local transportation, pocket money.Travel costs are partly
refunded according to the rules of EU Erasmus+.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
We are looking for self initiative, motivated, communicative, creative and
responsible young people (18-30 years old) who are interested in media education and
who would like to improve or develope their filmmaking skills. They have to be
interested in working with young people, media, film and videos. It is desirable that
they have some basic knowledge of filmmaking or photography but this is not
required.
At least the basic knowledge of English is desirable.

Stanica - train station and cultural venue in one
Stanica is NOT a youth centre, a school, a theatre company, a gallery. We are
NOT social workers, artists, teachers,...
Stanica is still functioning train station and at the same time a cultural venue
which is operated by us, Truc sphrique, Slovak non-governmental organization with
a French name (but nothing to do with France). We live in ilina, town with 85.000
inhabitants in the North of Slovakia, surrounded by hills and woods.
We call ourselves cultural operators or cultural workers who organize events
focused on presentation of contemporary art (music, theatre, dance, film, visual art,
new media). We also have an educational programme for kids (and partly adults).
EVS volunteers help us with everyday operation of the cultural venue - from
selling/checking tickets, distributing posters, to office work, manual work,
photo/video documentation, technical preparation of the events (lights and sound) to
leading educational workshops (animation, drawing, music, etc). And more

EVS project with us but this is not a residency program for artists. This is a great
experience for people who might start culture venue and work in the field of
independant culture scene.

Youth culture of Linkping
Kulturhusen Elsas & Skylten is run by an NGO, Studiefrmjandet on
assignment of the municipality of Linkping. Our target group is in the age of 15-25
years and our main goal is to inspire them to make activities of their own in their free
time such as concerts, art exhibitions, film festivals or creative workshops. This
project is for volunteers interested in culture and to inspire young people to use
cultural expressions. Our volunteers will take part in the planning and the
performance of a lot of different activities that will take place at the culture houses of
Elsas and Skylten. During the year our volunteers have huge possibilities to learn
everything you need to know to make events or workshops from how to make a poster
to sound engineering and everything in between. We encourage our volunteers to start
projects of their own, either to develop the skills they already possess or to learn new
ones. Our volunteers also work in the cafs in both houses with regular caf tasks.

We are looking for open-minded, creative volunteers able to use their skills
and willing to learn new skills in the area of culture. Our volunteers are interested in
non-formal learning to realise their ideas, projects and to help other young people to

EVS @ WTV- a community TV station and organisation for media education
The Open Channel of Wettin (WTV - Der Offene Kanal aus Wettin) has
been providing for citizens, the so-called users, access to the know-how and the
technical equipment for the production of video/movies since 1992 free of any charge.
The productions are broadcasted via terrestrial television signal in Wettin, via internet
streaming (see: http://wettintv.de/media.html) and partly via YouTube. For their
production the "OK" offers its users professional film equipment, several film editing
suites, a film studio and the support of trainees in media design and volunteers with
experience in the area of film/TV production.
In this way film clips in high professional standard, partly in feature-length,
and in different formats (reports, documentary and animation films) are produced. The
range of topics is very broad and depends primarily on the personal interest of the
users.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
The volunteers should be between 17 and 30 years old and highly motivated
into working in the field of TV / Film production and media education.
As part of the team at WTV they will produce reports and documentations of events
for our program and will get at the same time the chance to realize their own film
productions on EU-relevant topics.
Thus applicants should be able to gain knowledge in the field of film
production, able to work in teams and to manage stressful situations and should like to
work with children and young people.Besides we appreciate applicants with good
German skills.

WTV is situated in the little town Wettin (famous for its noble lineage that
spread over whole Europe), 20 km north from Halle on the Saale, which is two car
hours south of Berlin.
The two volunteers will be living in a fully equipped shared flat, each in his /

They will mainly work in Wettin and Halle. Depending on the projects of WTV and
their own film projects they might go to other cities in Germany as well.

Education on Youth Participation
The main objective of the organization is to implement educational projects
for youth who need to improve their skills in order to become valuable members of
the community they are living in. INPRO projects offer to youth the opportunity to
become aware about their skills, to help them improve this skills busing non-formal
education. Volunteers will participate in various events and activities, but they will
also have time and space to realize their own ideas and initiatives together with local
youngsters. This interaction will offer a good occasion for cultural diversity activities
with a significant role in anti-discrimination education and more cultural
understanding and tolerance. The volunteers will have a special role in attracting and
involving youth in different activities and events held in the Rzeszow Cultural
Incubator, where INPRO has its office and working spaces, this also stimulating their
wish to become volunteers and to experience other cultures habits and life.

We are looking for volunteers who are motivated and want to improve their
skills and abilities. Volunteers will get good experience in youth work and work with
youngsters who participate in INPRO activities after school or courses. Volunteer will

Interculturality and Citizenship
Our project is mainly to give support in our activities in the centre of
citizenship and intercultural activities. This Centre is situated at downtown of Lisbon,
a multicultural area in the center part of the city.The main activities are help in the
organisation and promotion of cultural events like music concerts,art
expositions,Festival ImigrArte,workshops,debates,cinema exibitions..which imply
contacts with artists and other organisations. Other activities that the volunteer can be
involved - make attendance to support the immigrants issues, as well as participate in
actions which promote their rights in society. As for the accommodation, we provide
him/her a room with good conditions and nice atmosphere. However our politics is to
give the whole grant per month to the volunteer and he/she can manage this grant as
he/she will. The duration of the project is between 9 months and 1 year.The tutor
works in the organization so he will accompany the volunteer in his/her dailly work.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
The candidates should be enthusiastic, dynamic and have communication
skills. The volunteer must be prepared to coexist and share, teach and learn
experiences with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Solidariedade Imigrante work is based on people from different origins and
with different backgrounds, which enrich the activities of the organisation with new
knowledge, exchange programs, ideas, skills and experiences. Solidariedade
Imigrante already have experience with other volunteers through other European
